Excellent experience from start to finish. Shipping was fast, everything arrived as expected, and the seller provided outstanding service throughout the process. The item was exactly as described and exceeded my expectations upon arrival. It's always refreshing to work with a seller who values professionalism, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Based on this experience, I would gladly purchase from this seller again.
10 day vacation, cooler stayed in back of hot car, only used 80 lbs of ice. Caution, open lid before draining. seals so tightly you will need tools to get it open if not. great product and great price compared to competing brands. It is heavy though. Would buy again!
I am a true cost-conscious consumer. Ive never paid over $40 for a cooler ever. But we needed a cooler as an alternative to our aging RV fridge. The coolers that I had bought in the past were for afternoon outings, parties, etc. They only needed to keep things cold for 24hrs or last. But we are full time RV’rs camping in some pretty remote places. Going to get ice every 2 days is not convenient (neither is having our food spoil). So after much research into coolers, I learned about rotomolded coolers. But most rotomolded coolers that are sized 70qt or larger are well over $400. Ahh..... no. Then I found out about the Lifetime brand of rotomolded coolers. At $150 it seemed like a real bargain. So we took the plunge and picked one up. VERDICT?????? The picture that I attached is the ice at day 5. It has no problem retaining ice for 9 days as advertised. It couldn’t be better ..... except for one thing ...... THOSE HANDLES. I hate them. Because they are nylon rope, the cooler swings when carrying it fully loaded. If it only had a hard handle in addition to the ropped handle it would be great (the rope is great for dragging though). Luckily, we don’t have to move it much. But even though I don’t like the handles, it’s still 5 stars. You can spend more if you want. But why?
This is a well built cooler. We have a smaller, 28 quart, one. The ice lasted for a couple of days, though melted, we still had plenty to keep stuff cold. We put a couple of frozen bottles of water in it and they stayed frozen. Wow! One of the hatch straps broke and I contacted the company to purchase another one. I did what they ask me to do and they sent it to me FREE!!! It was here in just two days. I put the new one on. I also like the metal plate that is part of the locking system. Great idea. MADE IN THE USA.
We haven't used this cooler yet, but plan to on a camping trip this weekend. It seems sturdy and well built. We bought this over an Igloo cooler that had cracking issues. This one seems much more durable and more like the Yeti coolers, but it costs about half the price!
These are a bit heavy when fully loaded, but man, they got the job done. Just moved from Texas to South Carolina, and had a freezer full of deer meat I didn't want to give up. Packed two of these completely full with frozen solid meat, put them in the car, covered them with blankets, then unpacked about 36 hours later. All meat was still frozen completely solid. This cooler got it done!
Great, solid cooler! On a long road/camping trip from Arizona to Colorado and back, it kept food cold and ice solid for the entire trip - including all those road hours in the sun on our rear cargo deck. Feels like we're getting all the performance of bigger-name-brand high-end coolers, at a *much* better price. So far... love it.
This cooler is great for keeping ice for long periods of time, even when it is 90 degrees outside. Great for camping. The only drawback is that it is heavy. Fully loaded, it takes two people to lift it, but it is worth it. We like it better than a Yeti, and it is significantly cheaper!
Bought 2 to take camping in the Black Rock Desert 11 day trip, self contained. Admittedly harsh conditions. Dry ice lasted 6 days, kept things frozen solid. Wrapped in blanket, kept out of sun/heat. If it can make it there, it can make it anywhere!
The cooler is heavy, but I guess that is to be expected with any of the newer coolers of this style. It is built very sturdy. I'm not sure if it will keep ice as long as advertised. I took it on a 3 day camping trip and it kept ice and all of our food cold for the whole trip. Overall, I'd say it's a good cooler for the money when compared to brands like Yeti.
