Lifetime Wave Youth 6 ft Sit-On-Top Kayak with Paddle, Yellow (90100)

We purchased this item for our dog to ride on while being pulled along behind our kayaks. She is a 60 pound German Shepherd/Border Collie mix. It held her nicely and fit her just right. As far as stability goes, she did not rock or sway and it does pull nicely without any drag.

I ordered this kayak after seeing a fleet of them at my five-year-old daughter's camp, and seeing how easily they were paddled by kids 5-10 years old. The stability is excellent, when swimming my daughter can pull herself on to it, and even the paddle is decently high quality. The handle on the front makes it easy to attach to my kayak with a rope, so I can pull her around if she gets tired. We attached the rope to a carabiner, so she can attach it herself while we're on the lake. Yesterday we had three little girls on it and it did fine. If you get more than one, they stack nicely. Can't believe it's this inexpensive.

They are light enough that my 7 year olds can get them in and out of the water. They can navigate in them well. They really enjoy them. The adult kayaks were just too big and bulky for them. These are perfect. We now have 5 of these. I have probably received them before.

We purchased one for each of our children, ages 5 and 7. My 5 year old daughter is tall for her age. Both kids were maneuvering their kayaks within minutes. They even paddled with a friend sitting behind them. Lightweight which makes it easy to transport and when they get a little older they will be able to carry them on their own. The kayak is very stable, and the kids were able to jump off and get back on easily. I definitely recommend it for people who's kids are comfortable in the water.

Super light. Durable. Easy to use. Perfect for the little ones who aren't quite big enough for a real kayak yet. My son is 6 and zooms all over the place on it. Crosses the lake, navigates salt water ways and creeks, and small enough to pack in the SUV versus on top of the roof.

It's perfect for kids 6-9 years old just learning how to kayak. I've been teaching my granddaughters how to flip them over and then flip them back right and get back up on them.

My almost 8 year old received this as an early birthday present. She loves it! She didn't complain about it once. I would suggest an oar leash though. That way they won't lose it.

I ordered this for my son, who is 4 1/2 and he loves it! We put him in the pool to test it out and he is ready for the river. Nice, solid construction and nice that it comes with the paddle and backrest. Very light to move around.

Walmart shipped me a defective Lifetime Products kayak. On its very first use by my 6 year old grandson, kayak began to sink 100 feet from the lakeshore. With much urgency, I was able to rescue my grandson and retrieve the kayak. I was shocked to see that the kayak has a 2 foot long crack in the seam between the top and bottom halves of the hull. It appears that they were never fused together. This kayak was not misused or abused at any time since being delivered 10 days ago. This is clearly a manufacturing defect. It's hard to fathom how this passed Lifetime Products quality control inspection, if an inspection was ever performed. Lifetime Products' customer service was useless. I was told that I need to haul this kayak to a Walmart store to get a refund. I expected much better support and ownership.
