Very nice stool that's sturdy if you assemble it right. Hints: * The short side of the wrench goes in the screw, but... * ...even that is hard to turn. Use either vice-grips or even just wear gloves to get more leverage as you turn the screws. They are firm (but don't over-tighten) * As others have said, first put all screws in loosely until you're sure everything lines up, then tighten. * The little wooden screw covers need to be tapped in. A rubber mallet is ideal, but covering with a towel and tapping with a hammer should work.

It is very sturdy and the finsh on it is attractive and works well in my kitchen. Extremely handy as a work stool for someone with a bad bad and can not stand for long periods doing prep work.

Very easy to assemble! Arrived pretty quickly, needed it in a pinch and it arrived just in time. Would definitely buy another one!

I love the color of the wood. It's pretty and assembly wasn't too bad. I love the look of it. I ordered a black cushion to go on it.

Stool height is fine. A little tough to get screws in. The wrench is like a small allen wrench %26 can't get much torque on it. Might help if put something over long end to lessen the pressure needed to turn it, like a cheater bar. The stool is solid when put together. You have to assemble the seat part to the 2 leg sections so it comes undamaged during shipping. It arrived in a few days, delivered on a Saturday by Fedex. I'm going to make a cover pad for the seat.

Kinda of a pain to install but it's doable. Color is completely wrong. It's more of a natural, bamboo color rather than a deep Carmel, oak color. I don't recommend sitting on it longer than 30 minutes due to the lack of padding.

I bought 4 in store..3 to be delivered ok i'm the dummy..the store ones were ready to use. The ordered ones the guy (me) had to put them together..oh did I mention i'm blind in one eye..Duh all good!!

Very sturdy once I got it together. The screws were very hard to get into the holes provided and the little bitty tool was very small. Broke a nail and my hand is sore from trying to get two of the screws in place.

this is too tall i didn't expect it to be this tall I'm disabled and needed shorter but I may have just ordered the wrong one

cant rate it because it isnt what i ordered, nor what paid for. i ordered and paid for the 29 inch stool but a 24 inch stool was delivered. im not even opening the box. driving it back to Walmart now. second time this week my order was incorrect but i was charged for what i ordered. The first time i attributed it to an honest error. Now Im attributing it to incompetence.
