Linon Rustic 46" Single Drawer Writing Desk, Antique Tobacco

The desk is great, the construction was not too difficult, but the instructions were a little hard to follow, especially the pictures. Some of the screws were also very difficult to get to.

Is a really nice desk, more because of the price. It also has a drawer that I didn't see in the photo. But the assembly is difficult under the table to add the top, the screws are on an angle and the screw driver doesn't fit. The frame came broken but when assembling it got secure with the screws. Need tiny and skinny screw driver to assemble the top on the frame

It was not hard to build up the desk, but you may need electronic screw driver :(. But the desk looks more than the price after you complete :)

This is a small desk in a great color. A little more red than I was expecting but still a good color. The instructions are horrible. The face for the drawer came preassembled (2 pieces). However, The holes did not match up for the hardware so I had to drill a hole to attach one of the handles. The drawer bottom is cardboard. The pocket holes for the screws do not match up to all of the starter holes of the piece you are attaching to. Some of the pieces do not have starter holes. As such, one of the screws came out of the front of one of the legs. The face piece below the drawer attaches with 1 screw on each end. There is nothing holding it in place in the center. It is very flexible and definitely not functional. The wood is very soft and dents/scratches easily. It will work for my needs but you definitely get what you pay for.

I was happy with product as a whole...until I got the the point of removing the extremely large "safety" sticker that won't come off and it terrible looking. Disappointment! There should never be a visible sticker anywhere on the outside of a piece of furniture!

I really dislike the large DO NOT REMOVE sticker on the visible side of the desk. It really looks tacky and should have been placed in a less visible location. One of the drawer pulls was unusable but Customer Support is sending me a replacement. The picture assembly instructions were not easy to understand. assumptions had to be made. More narrative instructions would have been helpful.

There are not written instuctions only pictures and the assemble pictures are awaful!!! I had to disasemble and reasemble 3 times. By the time I got it together it was scratced on the front. Not only that but there were discolorations in the wood. If the directions had been clearly written not just unrecognizable pictures it would have been easier. After gettting it completley assembled I'm okay with its function but NOT! okay with the discoloration and the scratches I wound up with. I will not order anymore products. What it cost in my time and the end result is not worth my time.Thank you

The desk is a good looking desk and seems sturdy. However, there is absolutely no room to tighten the screws into the top of the table. Once you get the bottom frame and legs on, the angle makes it impossible to screw on the table top tight. You will need a hex- screwdriver, some patience and acceptance in leaving the top (not) tightened all the way.

Broken pieces were not able to be replaced, since desk was partially assembled. Walmart wanted me to take it apart and return for a refund. Since I was not able to do that by myself and find a box large enough, I kept it and here I sit with a broken desk.

this is the most inferior piece of furniture-to- assemble ever received. the drawer rollers were not mounted correctly on the "wood" pieces and the holes for screws and dowel pins were on the incorrect side of the drawer shaft. the holes at the top of the legs for dowel pins were not drilled in the correct locations. the front pieces on either side of the drawer were not drilled out in the correct spots. and on and on and on. absolutely worthless.
