As they approach the posies and leaves that are sprayed with Liquid Fence, their faces show their distaste for the product. So they stay away. It also works to deter bunnies in much the same fashion. Note: mixing up a batch of the solution is rather stinky, but that's the whole point, right? We've used this product for years. Results speak for themselves.
