Litter-Robot 4 Ramp for Automatic Litter Box, White

Simply put.. this product changed my life. I had adopted 2 cats from the local shelter and for whatever reason, they seemed to fill up 2 litter boxes in less than 2 days. It was beyond a chore. And the days I would forget or be busy with something else, they just had the goods that would stink up my entire house. I became ashamed to even have company over because even with clean boxes, it just stunk. Enter the Litter Robot. Thanks to reading other folks suggestions on a forum, I started researching LR. The price was hard to consider at first, but I was desparate. I went for it. I am so glad I did. This one box handles both cats with complete ease. It does about a 95% good job keeping all foul smells within a few feet of it. I would dare say this has been one of my best purchases made in a very long time. Highly recommend this to anyone on the fence. I ordered the refurb unit to save some cash and what I got seemed like brand new anyway. It has been running flawlessly for 2 months now. 10/10 review from me.

The ramp is a great add-on to the LR4, especially if you have also purchased the LR4 shield, as we have. The ramp makes it very easy for the cats to get in and out of the LR4, and as our kitties are getting older, it will greatly improve their ability to get in and out. The ramp also helps catch much of the litter that inevitably will escape the robot with the cat on the way out and helps minimize tracking. The ramp is a "pawsome" addition to the LR4, especially coupled with the shield, and out three kitties give it 5 stars!

I purchased this ladder at the same time I purchased the LR4 four weeks ago. I knew I had better get one because my 3 cats are older,. Two have a little arthritis.. They have experience with plastic ladders because they have 2 already for the bed and couch.. Wasn't sure how it would work on the LR4 but ordered it at the same time when I ordered the LR4 and would figure it out. I received both at the same time February 5,2025 . I attached it pretty easily to the LR4 with no trouble. Two of my cat's took to the LR with-in 2 days . My youngest one the scaredy cat seemed afraid of both LR and Ladder being that it was connected., so I removed the ladder. .I left one of the regular litter boxes next too the LR and I left the ladder just laying on the floor in between the two . I also put a pinch of catnip into the LR4 each time I manually cycled it. I noticed she was becoming more curious when one of the other cat's used the LR but not to the point she would actually use it herself.. So Frida

It fits great and makes it easier for cats to get into the robot, however, we have had our robot for a few years and our cats did not adjust to the stairs. They were afraid of them. in addition, it adds significant length to the front of the robot and it impeded a doorway for us.

I've been waiting for this ramp since the beginning of this year when it was first introduced. It's a much needed added accessory as I was sweeping litter everyday. I prefer the ramp because you can “throw” the litter back into the globe by tilting the ramp. This Litter Robot 4 ramp however has been sliding off and therefore dislodging from the globe and not as secure as the Litter Robot 3 ramp… I bought a fence as the mini fence that came with the Litter Robot 4 purchase does not support the ramp. My kitties are clumsy.. and have knocked off the ramp or dislodged it so much so it creates a gap. Last night they decided that not to use the litter robot as there was a gap when the ramp was dislodged … Definitely a design flaw.. looking forward to see if the team would make a hinge clasp or something more secure.. overall, the ramp is still a good accessory to have

When it first arrived, we used it without the credenza since we hadn't built it yet. Both cats avoided it and just jumped into and out of the box at a diagonal which made tracking worse. It also seemed a little unstable so I get their reluctance. After building the coastal credenza, we found the ramp doesn't fit inside of it.

The way this and every other accessory attaches to the robot is so weak, unreliable and imprecise. It's tough to know if you even have this all attached right, and it's so flimsy when it is, you're more likely to scare your cat from ever trying your robot.

I have 2 Maine coons. The litter tracks on this compared to the mat are large. I constantly am cleaning this where the mat does a better job of hiding tracks. I bought this in hopes of track reduction, overall it made things worse. Overall quite pricey too.

I have never written a review online but I felt this is important so please read this. I was so excited for this ramp, I pre-ordered months in advance. What a disappointment! I rescue cats with injured legs and currently have two handicapped cats and one of them is a senior so I thought this ramp would be very helpful -UGH literally the opposite! The ramp has a moving part that hooks on to the guard (you have to buy the guard separate), if the ramp moves ever so slightly it will unhook or sit unevenly on the guard. This makes the ramp very wobbly and my cats were absolutely terrified of this thing. I tried putting treats on it, feeding them churn near it.. -doesn't work because whenever their bad leg touches the rough surface of the steps, it makes loud noises and that freaks them out. I wish the steps were made or covered with the same rubbery material on the waste drawer. Also WHY couldn't the guard and ramp be made in to one product? It should be so easy to make the top of the ramp into a guard that just
