Local Hive, Raw & Unfiltered, 100% U.S. Northeast Raw Honey, 16 oz Bottle

I prefer this type of Honey over other kinds. The other Honey you find at your local store tastes like it was over pasteurized or Honey flavored corn syrup. Raw and Unfiltered Honey has a full bodied flavor, like it was just removed from the hive. I use this Honey in recipes including a health tonic I found on YouTube. It gives me energy and is not bad when served mixed with warm water. I also use this Honey in a Flu/Cold Medicine that I take for my allergies and sinus problems. You drink it hot but it contains acetaminophen and that is too bitter. The Honey makes the medicine more palatable.

Honey is expensive no matter where you get it. But, when you have nothing more than the grocery store, then that's what it is. I prefer raw, unfiltered and I am glad it is available even in these small bottles.

my request was for LOCAL honey, as in the same state that I live in. USA product is a little farther than what I call local. I don't care for the taste at all. I probably will not order this brand again.

I love honey in my teas and this honey was okay but it takes too much to actually taste it in my opinion. There is a better raw & unfiltered honey that I used before and I loved it but this honey will do in a pinch.
