Loctite Re-New for Kitchen & Bath Specialty Silicone, 3.3 oz Squeeze Tube

Used to caulk a bathtub. After cleaning and cleaning the existing caulk with various cleaning solutions the caulk still did not look good. With this product it was a quick fix and dry time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loctite RE-NEW Sealant - White (3.3 fl. oz.) makes it so much easier to apply the correct amount as well as shape the sealent without any tools! This sealant is so convient for my family I finished this bathroom project it less time with no clumps etc. It was a smooth clean finish. This product is smaller than i expected i was able to finish one bathroom project with one tube and it did get harder to squeeze out of bottle in th end but i must say its the best i have used on projects by far. I would definately recommend this product to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just remodeled our bathroom and the caulk around the tub started turning colors, like a brow/pink almost. So we changed the caulk, but turns out it kept happening and we figured it was because of how it was installed. After applying the white renew, it worked like magic! White again, and looking new. It's very easy to apply. First you'll want to clean the surface you'll be working on, and make sure that it's completely dry before you apply the sealant. Instructions say you should wait 6 hours prior to water contact. I waited 12 just to be safe. I cleaned it the night before and allow the area to dry all night. So far it's not changed colors and I have faith so far that it won't. Because the products we used before would immediately change colors. But basically all I did was apply this over the caulk and it looks new again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product loctite was so easy to use it needed to recaulk my bathroom and I just went over the old caulk I didn't have to scrape I out it was that easy. And it was easy to use this is for anybody even if you don't have experience caulking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I received this tube of loctite re new sealant . For testing purposes all opinions are of my own .... I found it to be rather very messy but then again I am not diy savvy . Even though is messy if you hurry and wash it off it comes off easily .So I tried to reseal the shower frame however I ended up washing it off so then i decided to put it over the crack in the tub its not the prettiest but hey it works .. I enclosed pics before and after I gave it 4 stars because it was messy yet easy to wash off and the blue top comes off so you can wash it off for later use that way it don't dr out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pretty accustomed to using a large caulk gun to do repairs around my house, so it was nice to have a this small handheld option. It comes with a shield to help ensure you get a smooth application. It didn't quite work for me. I was forced to touch up with my finger and a paper towel, but I didn't mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have existing caulk has turned ugly and moldy, this is a quick and easy product to restore a "new" look. The applicator tip is angled and the product squeezes and flows easily. From what I can tell, this is basically ordinary caulk in an easier-to-apply container. You still need to smooth the bead with a finger, but there is no hassle of caulk guns, cutting tips to the correct angle, etc. For a quick fix to discolored bathroom caulk, I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I receive this product as a free sample to review. I recieved it today and tried it on my bath tub. It has a very smooth and professional looking application. I did find that if you do not clean the tip often enough, you will end up with some smearing. My only complaint is that I had some difficulty squeezing the tube once it was about half empty . It's a somewhat rigid tube and I had to squeeze fairly hard to get the product to dispense.

I got this for my kitchen and looked great. 3 days later I'm drying that area cause I got it wet
