This is the ONLY syrup my kids will eat. It's so sweet and has a great maple flavor. Adding this to their mini pancakes adds joy to thier morning and starts the day off right!
We've tried just about every Brand of Syrup out there, even some "Gourmet" off brands for fun, but Log Cabin's Taste can't be duplicated. (In Grade School, we even tapped our own trees around the grounds and made some!), I hope kids still get to do those wholesome things. Log Canon's perfect balance of sticky, not too sweet and doesn't pour out like water combination; is what brings me back to stay. Watching it slowly work its' way down a stack of pancakes, or fill every cubby in waffles, is just too good! Even to sop up the extra with that last bite of Bacon or Sausage is why we keep it in our home as a staple. Yes, the tariffs have put a bite on our wallets, (get it? Syrup, bite?, lol), but since there is nothing like out there, it's worth the few pennies extra. Hopefully prices will go back to affordable, soon!
Nothing against Mrs. B's syrup but I like this better. And yes, I know that it's not "real" mapke syrup. But I've tried several "real" brands and to tell the truth I still like this stuff better. Maybe because it's what I grew up on (and it doesn't cost nearly as much as the real stuff). The suggestions that I "might consider" in my review are: "Pancakes", "Waffles", "Kids" and "Size" Ok, here goes... This syrup is good on pancakes, waffles and even on french toast (they left that out). I don't have any kids so I'd don't know about them. I guess it would taste good on them too, but I'm not sure. The size it a little small for what I'm paying, but still worth it. If you're looking for that "buttery flavor" just smear some butter on your pancakes, waffles, french toast or kids before pouring the syrup on.
This has always been my go to syrup. I've tried MANY house brands and other brands. And as far as quality and flavor, Log Cabin has always been far and beyond in quality and flavor. I've even made my own with sugar, water and flavoring and not even close since it was imitation syrup.
My stomach is bothered by syrups with high fructose corn syrup. I noticed this was the syrup at Slim Chickens restaurant, and it did not bother me like Aunt Jemima. It does have some preservatives and dyes, but much less than most.
I have been using Log Cabin since I was a little girl. It tastes great on pancakes and waffles plus I love to dip my morning sausage it it to get the maple flavor. The quality and taste has always been great
i like it. many real about maple 100 etc etc.. nah maple is better for you, but not healthy, tbh I like maple but its not good enough to earn the cost. this is a really good take syrup for breakfast anecdotes we all really like it.i have maple in the cabinet, but usually reach for this instead. Anyone saying different is lost in the hype of pure maple, and probably but really expensive but cheaply made clothes as well.
After all the years Log Cabin has been on the market, it is still one of the best syrups. I heat the syrup up to put on waffles, pancakes and put it on chicken tenders.
As a cat owner I did not taste this product . My two Indoor cats turned their noses up. I feed two feral cats they ate it up. Must say they have actual pieces of product in can,
The CU bottle was open. The tab camper proof tab was in the Cap and an inch of the syrup is gone and it was all over my bag when I got home. I'm glad I decided to put it in a plastic bag cause it felt sticky 😢. I had my own bags so it didn't ruin them
