WE HAVE TRIED EVERY NAME BRAND AND EVERY STORE BRANDS ARE UP AND THIS IS THE ONLY ONE MY DAUGHTER WILL EAT! I TRIED IT AND I THINK SHE'S RIGHT I LIKE IT A LOT BETTER TOO... SURPRISING BUT WALMART GREAT VALUE BRAND IS BETTER MANY TIMES OVER OTHER NATIONAL NAME BRANDS! SHOCKER, I KNOW... BUT AWESOME!!!

This is the best syrup I can find. I have loved this product for a long time but had to wait for the gallon other stuff that I had bought previously to run out, so I could buy this again, but then decided to try some other brand that I had never tried before and it was not as good. I then had to assert myself in buying this product., and bought plenty of it. All things considered; it's good to be back with my favorite syrup again... Can't get enough!!! thanks

I do not care for thick syrup. If you do want syrup thick do not listen to me. Neither is this too sweet. This is , as I have always preferred just the right sweetness, and also, as I've said, I prefer thinner syrup. Perfect for me for those two reasons.

I always buy this one for my home and kids and grandkids home,it tastes amazing and its great for pancakes and waffles,or add it to peanut butter,or anything, taste great and love the price and it's a great size of bottle and will last longer, we love it 🩷

My food budget doesn't allow for Real maple syrup which is the absolute best. Knowing that, I prefer GV syrup for that great, sweet mapley taste on my french toast and pancakes. The price is right for an indulgence!

Everything in my orders is based on the price and if the item "will pass" the taste test. I have an empty gallon container of the syrup I would buy if the current market permitted, but I usually buy 2 or 3 of these at a time, then at home I drain them into the bigger one for storage. As far as the taste is concerned this is one of the "it will pass for now" products. I usually prefer the larger size container for this type of item, because that cuts down how often I have to buy it and this is something that I do not feel will go rancid or lose its taste. I think a lot of people are having to settle for whatever works these days, and this is acceptable in my household. Since there are no younger persons (Kids, AKA children.) here, everyone knows my criteria for shopping and no one complains about using this instead of a higher priced brand when we have pancakes. I never have been good at making waffles but there probably would be no reason to consider this satisfactory in that instance also... If you happen to purchase a cheaper ice cream but do not feel that buying butterscotch or caramel sauce to pour over your scoops, and if you are having a real Sugar Craving attack (The cheaper ice creams do not always seem to measure up there.) this also passes dribbled over the top there. Just don't get carried away with the habit and make sure the product is refrigerator cold at least.

We received our order normal enough EXCEPT that the GREAT VALUE Pancake Syrup that had 1 inch of dust all over top, sides, etc --- okay, 1 inch is an exaggeration. But it was enough for me to say to myself if I EVER receive anything from Walmart like this again I will NEVER again purchase from them. I only wish I had taken a picture of it to share online and with this review.
