This easy squeeze bottle makes use of the Great Value Chocolate Syrup so easy and clean. The syrup goes great in milk, on ice cream, over desserts and fruits and with peanut butter. You can flash freeze it for a crunchy topping, heat it for hot cocoa, or use it straight. It has a nice, creamy, rich chocolate flavor.
This is a budget-friendly chocolate syrup that does exactly what you expect—adds sweet, chocolate flavor to just about anything without costing much. Pros: Great Chocolate Flavor for the Price • Smooth cocoa-based syrup taste • Works well on ice cream, pancakes, and desserts • Good alternative to name-brand syrups Very Versatile Use • Mix into milk for chocolate milk • Drizzle on waffles, brownies, or fruit • Great for coffee or milkshakes Large Bottle Value (24 oz) • Around 17 servings per bottle • Long-lasting for families • Low cost per serving (budget-friendly) Cons: Highly Processed Ingredients • Contains corn syrup and artificial flavoring • Not a “natural” chocolate product • More sugar-based than cocoa-rich Very Sweet Flavor Profile • Can taste overly sugary for some • Less rich than premium chocolate syrups • Not ideal for low-sugar diets Basic Compared to Premium Brands • Thinner consistency than higher-end syrups • Flavor is good but not gourmet • More “everyday” than indulgent Summary: Reliable dessert topping that gets the job done. It's not fancy, but it's perfect for everyday chocolate cravings, milkshakes, and kid-friendly treats. Best for: Chocolate milk Ice cream toppings Budget kitchen essentials
We always buy the GV brand of chocolate syrup. Why pay more for the name brand, when the Great Value brand has the same great taste. It's a must-have on our banana splits and in our chocolate milkshakes and chocolate milk. Our grandkids can't tell the difference.
As much as I love Hershey chocolate, there is no reason at all to pay the big bucks for a name brand chocolate syrup when Great Value brand chocolate syrup tastes just as good. The 24 oz bottle lasts a long time especially with how much I use and that's when I'm craving chocolate milk or want some on my vanilla ice cream. It has a convenient plastic squeeze bottle design and is a good value for the price.
I bought this Great Value Chocolate Syrup thinking it would casually enhance my morning coffee… and instead it turned my kitchen into a full-blown café experience with zero barista attitude and zero $8 lattes. One squeeze and suddenly my basic cup of coffee leveled up into a rich, chocolatey masterpiece that feels suspiciously luxurious for something living in my fridge door. Flavor check? Smooth, sweet, and perfectly chocolatey without going into “liquid candy chaos” territory. It blends into hot coffee like it was born for the job—no weird clumps, no sad separation, just silky mocha goodness swirling around like it's performing a dramatic slow-motion commercial. Consistency is chef's kiss. Thick enough to drizzle like an artist decorating a masterpiece, but not so heavy that you need Hulk-level grip strength to get it moving. And the versatility? Outrageous. Coffee, iced coffee, milk, hot chocolate upgrades, pancakes, ice cream, late-night spoon decisions you don't want to talk about—it does it all with heroic enthusiasm. Why it's a coffee MVP: Turns ordinary brews into café-style mochas instantly Mixes smoothly without weird grit or sadness Big 24 oz bottle = weeks of chocolate-fueled joy Budget-friendly but tastes like it's plotting a promotion Warning: once you start using it in coffee, plain coffee may feel emotionally distant and disappointing. Also, friends may “randomly” start visiting around breakfast time.
It makes a nice cold glass of chocolate milk and isn't overpriced. I've bought this for years and it's still a staple in my house. My kids and grandkids have grown up but there are still two chocolate milk drinkers here. It goes great on desserts too.
Taste better than namebrand, Hershey's! So much better I definitely tasting before you get the expensive Hershey's or Nestlé Nesquick. Taste better than namebrand, Hershey's! So much better I definitely tasting before you get the expensive Hershey's or Nestlé Nesquick💯❤️
I usually stick with Hershey's Simple chocolate syrup, but this time I ran low on money, so I purchased this without much expectations. I was surprised to find it tastes much better than I expected. I'll probably continue with this product to "mochify" my coffee from now on.
The cap on the bottle was broken, which could reflect the store or the manufacturer. I tried to initiate a return, but wasn't driving back to the city I had the Walmart pickup in for a $3 credit. otherwise, it's ok. I'll just pour it into my Hershey container.
This syrup is truly awful, and I find it hard to believe that it has so many glowing reviews. There is no chocolate taste. It tastes like chemicals. I thought there was something wrong with the cup I was drinking out of, or the milk, but nope. I put a dab of this syrup on my finger to taste it alone. It has an awful chemical, artificial taste, and tastes nothing like the name brand. Will not be purchasing again!
