This is hands down the best mouse there is for macOS. The build quality is astounding, the grip feels great, the buttons are silent, everything about it feels great. The only downside of the mouse is the application, though. LogiOptions+ is objectively bad, and should be rebuilt by people who care about craft. Some features, such as the spotlight may break the up/down down key listeners, and you'll have to restart your machine to fix it.
The Logitech MX Master 4 is outstanding. The ergonomic design is extremely comfortable for long work sessions, and the precision and responsiveness are top-notch. The scroll wheel is smooth and versatile, and the customizable buttons significantly improve productivity. The Pale Gray finish looks clean and premium, and the battery life is excellent. Overall, this is a high-quality mouse that's well worth the investment, especially for office and professional use. Highly recommended.
I recently picked up the Logitech MX Master 4 - Graphite, and overall it's been a solid upgrade for both work and everyday use. The ergonomics are excellent—it fits comfortably in the hand even during long sessions, and the thumb rest makes a noticeable difference. The scroll wheel is one of the standout features. Switching between ratchet and free-spin modes is smooth and intuitive, making it great for everything from precise edits to quickly flying through long documents. I also use the side wheel for volume control, and it's very precise—honestly one of my favorite features. Battery life has been impressive as well, lasting well over a month on a single charge with regular use. The ability to connect to multiple devices and switch between them seamlessly is another big plus, especially if you're juggling a work computer and a personal one. I find the weight to be just right, and overall the build quality feels premium. It's not the cheapest option out there, but if you value comfort and productivity features, it's well worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MX Master 4 was my first dive into the MX series. The mouse works well and is quite comfortable, however i rarely get the full benifit from its features. My main PC runs Linux, and its not officially supported. My employer owned PC has limited us to an older version of Logi Options+ that does not support it. My android tablet doesnt have offixal support either. Does run well as a normal mouse and on my windows pc i use from time to time. That being said, this mouse is totally dependent on software for features its know for. It is a solid everyday mouse without them, but not worth the price. Plz give offical linux support.
I have been using Logitech hardware for years now, and I have never been disappointed. Battery life is exceptional, ease of use is outstanding. HOWEVER, I wanted to give this product a 5, but there's one annoying feature that keeps me from doing so. The thumb click for the action ring drives me nuts. I use this mouse for gaming as well, and every now and then I press too hard on the "pad" and the ring appears and makes me lose my place in the game. I have turned down the sensitivity, but it still triggers. I wish I could disable it altogether, but I have been told it can't be done.
I love the new style, with the haptic feedback. Still getting used to the actions ring, not very useful in my opinion/use cases. But I love using the side buttons to switch between apps and desktops. Would like to be able to configure the type of haptic feedback for each action, as switching desktops for example has an exagerated feedback, while other things are ok.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall pretty good. Battery life has been killer so far, the white hasn't stained in the last month, and I hope the new materials don't wear down or get sticky. My only three complaints: 1) low polling rate. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next gen with a new bluetooth revision 2) Haptics are a bit underused. Mostly I write code and use Google Chrome, and there aren't good haptic plugins for my programs. 3) Build quality nit: The left and right click buttons are slightly misaligned with each other vertically at the tip, resulting in a height difference I can see and feel. The mag scrolling is great, the repositioned thumbwheel is nice, the new gesture button is good, and the action ring is cool once you customize it.
Extra functionality, but has different stick-slip than MX3S. I end up pushing the cursor too far and having to backtrack because of the stickslip. When you turn over the MX4 and the MX3S, the portion of the live which touches the table is considerably different causing the MX4 to stick and not move as smoothly as my old MX3S
The Logitech MX4 feels too heavy and doesn't offer the same comfortable grip as the MX3S. As a trader, I prefer a lighter mouse that's faster and more precise, and the MX4 doesn't match the speed and accuracy I need for long trading sessions. maybe because of the weight.
This is a great mouse with one flaw that made me return it. The ergonomics hurt my wrist. I had the MX master 3 before this and loved that mouse. Everything about this is a welcome upgrade, except the angle that it turns my wrist. The new design levels out the angle that your wrist holds the mouse so that it's more parallel with your work surface. It hurt so much I had to return it.
