Great and Quiet Mechancial Keyboard

Mack86 February 21, 2026

Ive spoiled myself with mechanical keyboards working from home the last 6 years but started a new job in an office. I literally could not type on the company issues membrane keyboard. But knew bringing in one from home would likely drive people in the adjoining offices insane. So I purchased this one. Paired it with my house and its perfect. Click and accurate. But not loud

Great Keyboard!

KenA January 25, 2026

This keyboard has been in use for a while now and all I can say is it is a dream to use! The build quality and key feel are impressive. The backlighting is nice and comes on when needed. The feel of the keys is nothing but awesome. I have used many keyboards over the years and this is the best one by far!

60 Words Per Minute, 25 errors to fix

Terry May 11, 2026

My error rate keyboarding is higher withe this keyboard that the previous Logitech keyboard. I don't like how the keys are labeled in the number row with the numbers next to the uppercase component but that is not the reason for the error rate. I think this keyboard is smaller.

Great keyboard with two minor annoyances I didn't expect

Alex March 10, 2026

I love the feel of typing on this keyboard but I'm still deciding if I can live with it as my daily driver. The layout is somewhat compact for a full size keyboard, without the usual gap under the top row of function keys. This throws me off now and then, but the biggest annoyance for me is that even when the keyboard is plugged directly into a computer, you still have to use Bluetooth or the wireless adapter for it to work. I just want to be able to plug it in to any machine and have it work right away every time.

Fine Keyboard

Nigel March 29, 2026

I had to replace my first one after about 2 years, the device couldn't connect to my computer. The new one has a bit of a squeaky space bar but otherwise it's a good substitute for a very noisy mechanical keyboard if the response times are important for you

Great quality, not the keypress feedback expected.

Krash March 28, 2026

Good quality, but keypress feedback not what I expected in the model chosen. Happy with the purchase. Layout slightly different than the flat MX Keys, and I like the dedicated volume up and down buttons, but I have to get used to the smaller Esc key. I happen to use Esc a lot in a company app.

Loud and sensitive

Grep Lomes March 1, 2026

Well built, keys feel nice but quiet it is not. Keys are also very sensitive and seem to trigger very early in the stroke - I would routinely find that just having my fingers idle on the keys would result in keystrokes without any key depression. I went back to my MX keys after a couple weeks. Its a shame the switches are soldered, I would have tried the other options.

A Downgrade From The Original

Tim April 6, 2026

If you had never owned the previous model, you might think this is a decent keyboard. The original model they had for years was superior in every possible way. This keyboard lights up much more slowly when you put your hands over the keys. When you move your hands to the keyboard, you have to hesitate a moment to see the keys, which is very annoying. This one is bulkier and noisier. This one requires special software to do what the previous model did by itself. This one has so many unneeded and unused bells and whistles that you often have a hard time finding the simplest function. There is no way to keep the keyboard light on all the time. The keys also do not light up as brightly, even on full brightness, as the original. Like most Logitech products, it does seem well-made, though. The far top right key is the lock your computer key, and you will hit it all the time as you move your hands from the mouse to the keyboard, so you need to change it or disable it. The battery life is good, and the Bluetooth connection is stable. You can swap to a few types of light cycles, but only on white. This keyboard is way overpriced for its design and function. The only thing it really has going for it is its auto-light-up feature. If you 100% need that function, then it's ok, otherwise, there are much better keyboards on the market.

not what it should be

jason May 6, 2026

i dont like the way the keyboards feel -- there seems to be too much resistance that creates stress on the fingers. Furthermore, i find the keys to be too loud, and I am using the linear board. I would have imagined with todays technology, i would be able to modify the key's sensitivity.
