Perfect 2Tb knock off.

Michael November 5, 2024

Cloncked out at 1.7Tb even with 600 Gb unallocated breathing room and optimized. Samsung wizard doesn't recognize it as a samsung product. Once it reaches the 1.7Tb mark, it vanishes. Must close the PC and reopen it to make it apear in which data is corrupt and drive turns from GPT into MBR. Passes surface test but once 1.6 Tb are in, nothing else is writeable. Not even 0.1 mb. Partition wizard sees it as a bad disk. I gave it 4 stars because it is fast before it self destructs and you lose everything only to try again and repeat your previous experience. I returned it after 4 days of trying to pretend it was legit. Hard to beleave? I find it hard to beleave all the 4 stars reviews. I should have made a you tube video...lol!

Reliable drives

KENDALL January 31, 2026

These are solid performers! Reliable and they just work. They also have data migration software for Samsung drives. I had a 1 TB drive for several years and wanted to get a 2tb so I used data migration. Copied all from 1tb to the 2tb. And it worked like a charm. My 1tb drive data moved perfectly to the new drive. The only thing is prices have soared. Due to everything going on in the world.

Good deal on Samsung SSD

WalmartCustomer December 4, 2025

I've used a number of these Samsung EVO SSDs for over a decade. They are generally considered to be the best in terms of performance and reliability. Walmart had the best price based on my Internet search. The free delivery in under 48 hours was a bonus.

The perfect addition.

Clover July 21, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for over 2 years and I have never had a single issue. Super easy to install and helped me to build my game catalogue from my standard 1TB memory to 2TB and I could not be happier. The speed and responsiveness has been paramount in keeping me up to date with some of the biggest games available. Always consistent and has endured everything that I've personally thrown at it. 10/10 would buy again.

Bjorn November 2, 2025

The 870 Evo drives are amazing and reliable SATA drives. They are a bit on the expensive side, but it's defintly worth the money for peace of mind. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This can solve some problems for beginners.

Zi December 7, 2025

When using this hard drive for the first time, you need to partition and assign paths to the newly added unpartitioned hard drive in the computer's disk management. Whether it is external or internal, please check whether paths and partitions have been assigned in disk management after installation.

Bought again despite a failure

gkgAtw January 9, 2026

Samsung Magician software is good but does not have enough features for this drive model. Also had a drive of this model fail after 16TB R/W operations.

Reseller scam

Either a non-genuine samsung SSD, or a defective product. Either way, 3 of my friends and I have defective products. Do no buy

Incompetence is a killer in this industry

Miguel December 23, 2025

I never received this item because the seller was too incompetent to recognize that E Lucia Dr is not the same as E Lush Vista View. Thanks for nearly ruining my Christmas you incompetent boob. At least I got my money back.
