Great! Perfect for making a red velvet cake, just in time for the Christmas seasonal theme. Delicious!
Better than the extract. It makes homemade coffee creamer delicious!
I bake cakes for people famous for my pound cakes and this is what I use taste great
LorAnn extracts are always dependable. it will be a positive ingredient to add to my orange sickle cake. Because of it bring oil based, I'll be able to add a little yo make my chocolate have a bit of orange.
Considering how disappointed I was with the butter flavoring I was surprised how strong this flavoring is. It wouldn't take much to turn a milkshake into a gourmet treat and I'm sure it would turn ordinary white cake into a strong caramel cookie butter flavoring. It didn't work for what I purchased it for but I'm sure I'm going to be able to use it in just those sorts of treats.
overall it tastes very good! however I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to be used for a sweet sauce. I made some butterscotch sauce with this instead of butter extract and it wasn't quite the same. but it still tasted very good.
I'm still unsure I'm using this correctly as I'm afraid to. The flavor has such a strong chemical taste to it. It's ruined so many expensive smoothies I make at home and some baking items.
I normally love this brand , and I have purchased the smaller bottle of these many times . I decided to get a bigger bottle so I wouldn't have to keep ordering the small ones. When opening the product, it had its usual strawberry smell but when I poured some in my cake batter , the color was way off. The floor is normally a bright red this time it was a light brown . The taste was sour and bitter . I had to dump my batter out as it made it taste sour. I will continue to purchase the smaller bottles from Amazon .
The photo of ingredients shows no added dye, the item I received has added dyes.
Item was expired, place order again and they sent an expired item again!!
