This is GREAT stuff!!! Everything was going good until the survey asked me to rate the VANILLA that'd why I had do down grade it to 4 Star. I'll give you a little tip I take Whipping cream whip er up throw some of this Pumpkin Pie Spice in it and you've gat a great little dessert with out a whole lot of calories. Great for Christmas time.!!!! Enjoy.
I bought this oil because I went to a café and they had this silky red velvet coffee, so I was like how am I gonna make this at home? Well, this oil exceeded my expectations. It tastes amazing, and a little goes a long way. The quality is outstanding. I definitely recommend anyone who needs a good quality, red velvet flavoring for cooking or baking. And I made my red velvet coffee, and it came out awesome!
LorAnn has the best baking emulations. The flavor is great and less "chemical" taste of many flavorings. I have several and this lives up to the rest I have tried.
I found a recipe on the internet for making Kentucky Butter Cake cookies like Crumbl sells once or twice a year. This is part of the recipe, and the cookies are fabulous.
Considering how disappointed I was with the butter flavoring I was surprised how strong this flavoring is. It wouldn't take much to turn a milkshake into a gourmet treat and I'm sure it would turn ordinary white cake into a strong caramel cookie butter flavoring. It didn't work for what I purchased it for but I'm sure I'm going to be able to use it in just those sorts of treats.
THE 3 STAR RATING ISN'T ABOUT THE PRODUCT. IT'S ABOUT HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS TO PLACE AN ORDER. SEVERAL TIMES I HAD TO RE-DO MY CREDIT CARD, EVEN TRYING A DIFFERENT CARD. BY SOME MAGIC IT FINALLY WORKED. WALMART HAS A LIST OF PAST CARDS, SOME AREN'T EVEN CURRENT! YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO RETAIN THEM. P. Mraz
I love their cinnamon oil and was looking for something with just a little less bite for my late-night cinnamon tea. This does not taste anything like the oil - more like a mellow spice mix than cinnamon. I expected there to be a difference in thickness (this is like a syrup), but not such a big difference in taste. Will try it in baking as it is supposed to keep its flavor better than the oil in baked goods.
This product had an overwhelming smell of alcohol. The taste was mediocre, I just couldn't get past the smell and was honestly embarrassed to serve it to my guests. I made maple glaze for donuts. It was too much for this application. If you are an adult needing a note of alcohol, this would be ideal. But for sweets and for children, it made me feel uncomfortable. No comments regarding the seller as we had no interaction. The product shipped quickly, but with no padding or security, it was rolling around, in too large of a box. I'm glad it didn't break.
I normally love this brand , and I have purchased the smaller bottle of these many times . I decided to get a bigger bottle so I wouldn't have to keep ordering the small ones. When opening the product, it had its usual strawberry smell but when I poured some in my cake batter , the color was way off. The floor is normally a bright red this time it was a light brown . The taste was sour and bitter . I had to dump my batter out as it made it taste sour. I will continue to purchase the smaller bottles from Amazon .
I had great hopes for this rum emulsion but turns out it taste like chemical and the cookies I baked have a nasty after taste using this product, better off using real rum and create rum syrup then brush it on the cookies when on the cooling rack.
