I don't ever give 5 stars but this is literal gold. I had blue hair dye with black 10 box dye over it. I used this and it instantly started lifting to a honey brown then to a nice toneable blonde. I do recommend multiple boxes for full coverage but this is the best thing I've ever used. I was not expecting it work so well but it did. don't get me wrong I do need to do my roots again ( user error there not product error lol) but over all this removed my black dye like nothing

I like this hair dye remover better than the opps kind doesn't have that nasty smell this product does really good for my hair lightens my hair color really good and I always do my burgundy for spring and it comes out just the way I like it

Smells and works better than color oops.Just make sure when you're washing it out to use the hottest water possible and then follow with a heavy protein conditioner and a cold rinse

Had to keep it on long however and since one box wasn't enough once I got it all on my hair I was able to "slide" the stuff off my hair and reapply it to the parts I didn't have enough to cover. In other words I was able to recycle one bottle to all around my hair. Make sense? Hope so. Just get two boxes! :) good stuff. Good price. Shipping could have been cheaper though. They sent it in a big box and put a lot of air balloons in the box to take up the rest of the space. Big waste. Unless you need the box for Christmas presents :)

I bought this color remover thinking it worked similarly to color oops; in that the formula shrinks the molecules of the hair dye in order for you to be able to wash them out of your hair. However, I was surprised to find this product has hydrogen peroxide in it, specifically 20 vol, so it will absolutely lighten your hair during the process. I felt that should have been indicated on the packaging. Otherwise, it was very easy to use and since it doesn’t have the same sulfur compounds, smells much better than other hair color remover products. If you’re ok with a gentle bleach (20 vol) bath, then this is probably what you’re looking for.

Reviews had warned it will remove all the dye color and leave your hair totally striped of color - so orange hair basically. Box clearly says be sure to have your new hair color ready to dye your hair with the new color you purchase. This product WILL NOT restore your hair to its natural color. So I used it to tone down the so called wrong dye color I put in, left it on only minutes at a time, combing it through each time, then rinsing, and repeating couple times, till I got the hugh of the color I wanted from the so called wrong dye I put on.

I was under the impression the item would remove previous hair dye and prepare my hair for fresh color. similar to other products advertised however this item is really Bleach and removes All color Except dye from previous hair color so you'll have blonde roots with whatever color you previously dyed your hair. big 😥

I love L’Oréal products, but this color remover is a big fat never again. It has the consistency of water, which makes it impossible to cover and saturate the hair evenly. As a result, it leaves you with patchy hair color and looks horrible.

I thought this color remover was like color oops and would only remove the dyed parts out of my hair but it also bleaches your natural hair and is super damaging. This product is just poor quality bleach and developer that you mix together in a bottle. The box is very misleading. If you want to bleach your hair you can get good quality bleach way cheaper at Sallys beauty. I do not recommend this at all. Not only is my hair more damaged but now would be considered a horrible color correction at a salon.

this is actually one of the worst things i could’ve put on my hair. i wanted to go from my bright red to a light purple colour so when i went to walmart i wanted to get a colour remover because i’ve used colour removers from the past and they normally never damage my hair and they don’t have bleach in them. so anyways i buy it and go home to use it and when i rinsed my hair, let me tell you my hair was stringy, chucks of my hair were coming out, and my hair felt sooooo disgusting. when i went to dry my hair it didn’t even take most of my red colour, my roots were BLONDE and when i brushed my hair chucks and chucks of what once was perfectly healthy hair was now damaged and stringy. i had to cut over 2 inches off my hair because of how dead it was. so moral of the story before advertising that it is a colour remover maybe advertise that it is actually just bleach and developer
