L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Washable Bold Eye Mascara, Black Brown

I love this mascara because it's waterproof and smudge-proof! I also discovered a great trick: place the tube in a cup of hot water for a few minutes, and the mascara comes out smoothly every time, almost like you're using a brand-new tube. It's a great little tip to get more use out of your mascara!

I fell over this mascara years ago. I was looking for something that went on nicely, didn't clump and made my lashes look a bit thicker. This ticked all the boxes. I can use one coat most of the time, two other times and it works fine. As it gets older it may clump a little bit, but you can't help that.

This is my favorite mascara! I have tried many others and I always end up returning to this one. I keep an extra one on hand, so I don't run out, (especially during experimentation with other brands.) It goes on smooth and thick and doesn't clump or run. It makes my lashes full and long. If you haven't tried it... you should.

I just began using this mascara. This is my 2nd tube and I LOVE it! It goes on smooth does not clump up and separates my lashes as I like. The color is also very nice, I got Black. The one thing I like about this mascara, it does come off easily when I am using my makeup remover towelettes. You don't have to rub for hours, in a few swipes it comes off. I love this mascara, please don't change it.

I have used this mascara for many years and I always come back to it. Some of the other mascaras have plastic applicators and that just doesn't separate my lashes..... it looks clumpy. Loreal has a wiry brush that does the job perfectly. The mascara comes off easily with makeup remover and does not smudge during the day. The waterproof version is great for the beach or pool. There is also a primer that I will apply sometimes, but usually just the mascara by itself.

I bought it on a whim after seeing somebody's picture with burgundy mascara. The color on a brush looked beautiful, I was so excited, but once on the lashes it may as well have been black, barely any color. Disappointed. It does add volume and feels good on lashes, so 3 stars for that

This mascara has gone WAY downhill over the last 2-3 years. Clumpy, dry, thick, just crappy! I have used this product for a lot of years. When they changed the packaging, they must have changed the formulation. Shame on you, L'Oreal.

This used to be my favorite affordable mascara. Something has changed. After anout the third use, it starts clumping and makes a huge mess. I think there's a problem with the brush scraping rubber piece at the top of the tube. It doesn't scrape off the excess, leaving a big fat mess on your lashes. I initially thought I just got a bad one. I've tried a couple more and they do the same. I'm not going to buy anymore.

I always use this mascara since the 1980’s I had never ordered it online But It was completely sealed but It is nearly dried up I will have to repurchase but I will get it AT THE STORE like o always did before I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t get to the review area if I didn’t pick one

I was using this product religiously for awhile and now I've the past several months it has distinctly changed to wear it no longer washes off with warm soapy water...and barely responds to micellar water or makeup cleaner wipes designed for waterproof mascara! It has been a nightmare trying to get it off my lashes and I. The process I lost many of them which is heartbreaking and also a little engaging. I never buy waterproof mascara for this very reason...I end up with half the lashes I started with! You can't market this formula anymore as being washable! It's a lie and dangerous!
