Louie's Seasoning Italian Beef Au Jus, 3 Oz

Very good! I've used this on beef and now pork chops. Great on both. I put pork chops in a baking dish with this on top and added some chicken broth in the bottom. Then I covered with foil and slow cooked turning once. Turned out amazing.

This item surprised me! Growing up in Chicago, Italian beef sandwiches are a staple food. I was ready for disappointment again. This was as close to the real thing as I've seen from the grocery store. I added a few banana peppers and some pepper juice to the pot when I cooked the meat and it was delicious. Don't follow the package instructions. Slice par-frozen raw eye of round very thinly before cooking in the juices. Following the instructions to roast in the juice prior to slicing will result in dry, tough meat.

I used this package on a Wal-Mart beef chuck roast I cooked in the crock pot and it was perfect. I poured the package over a 2.25 lb Angus beef chuck roast, added 3/4 cup of water and 2 Tbsp of butter. I cooked it on low for 8 hours. It made a perfect gravy and the roast was super tender. I served it open face sandwich style. My husband loved it!!

My husband being from Chicago he loves beef sandwiches. I use Louie's Italian Beef seasoning. Our family is small so I use half of what is recommended and can get 2 meals out of one package.

this seasoning is life changing cook it with walmarts chuck roast serve over noodles, mashed potatoes or on a hogie roll.

We bought this seasoning to make our own roast beef sandwiches by using this to cook a top round roast in a crockpot! Turned out fabulous for a fraction of the cost of deli roast beef or beef sandwiches ordered out from a restaurant! Highly recommend!
