Love these cameras! We have 3 and have used them for our chicken lot and their house. The alarms, recording and lights work great! I would recommend these to anyone!!!
It's only day two I am using it. So far no issues. I was worried that it would be hard to set up. But no. Was really easy to set up. And I am very happy with it.
works great wonderful product
couln't make them work... therr was no way to maje them sync to the app. no way whatsoever... and could'nt return them...
For the price, this is a decent camera. Easy to install and easy to use the app for remote viewing. We like it so well, plan to buy another for a different location on our farm. The motion alerts work well.
Setting up the appointment for installation was like pulling teeth. The initial phone call to Walmart Tech Services was lengthy with a lot of questions and the snag was the agent repeatedly telling me I needed to csll my internet service to determine the frequency. I did not want to have to call back and asked for options to figure out the frequency. The agent was a broken record to call my provider. We ended the call, I called the provider and they couldn't tell me because I own the router. It turns out that every router displays the frequency on a label on the router. Then I had to call back, gave the information that was needed so I could set the appointment for installation. The second agent was not interested in knowing how to help with internet frequency, but preferred to stick to a script to call the provider. The agent set me up for two appointments just in case I had to cancel the first one. The agent that helped with the appointment instructed me to have my security cameras charged before the installation. When I inquired how to do that he said there should be cable in the box. There was a charging cable (but no plug) so I plugged in the camera to charge. Nothing happened for four hours, and there are no instructions for charging the camera, on the installation. I changed sockets, charging cords, plugs, nothing helped for an entire weekend. The day before my appointment Walmart called to confirm my appointment and i told him the camera is not charging. I was offered a refund if I return the cameras, but I'm no quitter so I declined the first appointment and kept the second one. I started fooling around with the camera and removed the rubber gasket around the charging slot. Next to the slot was a tab to reset the camera and voila, it began charging. I called the number that called me to make my appointment, (it was different than the Walmart Tech Services number I initially called) to confirm my second appointment and the agent spoke with such a thick Indian accent i could not understand him. I finally asked for a different person, apologizing to him, and was told he could not transfer the call. Just as I was about to hang up, I was told my call would be transferred to a Walmart employee. I stated I thought I was calling Walmart but could not understand the answer. The next agent also had a heavy accent but I could understand her. problem was, she used a script and couldn't answer a question, she could only read a script that she had in front of her. She stated I had no appointment scheduled and I would have to start the appointment process all over again and she kept saying Angie. I finally figured out she was an agent for Angi, the home improvement website. I eventually hung up when I couldn't get useful information from her. I'm happy to report that when I called the original phone number for Walmart Tech Services, I got a wonderful gentleman who was so supportive and helpful, he confirmed the appointment.
I'm disappointed I thought the ad said it did not need wifi or Internet to use . I found out it requires wifi. If you had a wireless camera that doesn't require WiFi I would be interested in it . It would have to be solar power and wireless but I haven't found any cameras yet.
The same keeps going asking for reconnection you have to take it down and reconnect it when ever it dies
I dislike the app makes me watch an advertisement before I can access my outdoor camera
I will never buy something like this again where you have to hook it up with your own Internet system. I had to pay to have them put up on my roof and I had to have paid to have them taken down when they wouldn't work. They were total trash. I lost a lot of money and Never again. Would I do something without a company? This was a total disaster to buy something that's supposed to be security and it's supposed to hook up with your Internet. It was a nightmare.
