Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs - 6 Pair

I have been buying Mack's silicone earplugs for over 20 years. I am a light sleeper, and Mack's earplugs are the only brand that truly conform to my ears. They keep the noise out completely. I would definitely recommend these earplugs to family and friends. They are truly the best!!

After trying the little spongy kinds of ear plugs, these are so much better. For an adult, I have narrow ear canals, so the usual spongy things wouldn't stay in and/or didn't fit properly and wouldn't muffle the sounds of the next door construction. The silicon wedges are easily molded. Just be sure to wash your hands before manipulating the silicon because it's a tad bit sticky and any dirt on your hands will stick to the silicon. You can even wear them to bed. Once pressed in, they lay flat and are very comfortable. Each silicon tab can be easily sized to fit perfectly by pinching off a tiny piece.

compared to gizmos and gadgets to reduce noise, this is a cheaper alternative and does just as well as those rated to keep out 40 decibel. it doesnt block out 100% of the noise, but neither did the pricier options. can break down into smaller pieces or combine into larger piece to use. reused a few times without issue.

I've been a Mack's user for many, many years. When I put them in at night, they signal my brain that it's time to sleep. As an incredibly light sleeper, I started using earplugs while living in a college dorm, and continued on into adulthood. They take away any extra noise, but I'm still able to hear my dogs barking and my alarm. I'm a huge fan of this product for the effectiveness and the price!

I'm using these for my child who just had tubes put into their ears. The surgeon recommended this specific brand for ear protection during bathing and swimming to prevent water from entering the ear canal, negatively affecting the tubes. These works great! For a child, each wax plug can easily be split in two - making one pack last twice as long. Cheaper alternative to the medical grade and keeps my little one's ears dry.

I have a rude neighbor who puts her dog in a kennel, then leaves it to bark non stop all day. ALL DAY. It begins early in the morning during my sleep hours. I was getting angry, sleep deprived and desperate. I needed an affordable solution that works. Reading other reviews I was nervous as some said these were great, and others pushed them in too far. If you simply roll them in a ball as instructed and place as instructed there is no way it would enter the ear canal. You'd have to really force it in there and there is no need. Feel secure knowing these won't just migrate into your ear canal. As for the barking dog? These silence the obnoxious beast and let me get sleep. No worries if you feel insecure about sounds.. you would still hear a smoke detector or something that alerts. It is just enough to allow your brain to rest. No more screaming kids and barking dogs.

I've recommended these so many times! I have small ears and these mold to fit my ears for a perfect fit every time. I sleep so much better with these plugs than I do without. My partner coughs occasionally while sleeping and wakes me with a jolt. This muffles it so much if I hear it, it's so faint it's ignored and never brought me fully out of sleep vs. being startled out of sleep without them. Also, with paper thin walls, roaming teens slaming doors are now a non-issue. I bring them with me when I travel too - just helps so much to ensure you're getting rest and not leaving it up to chance!

I had to give five stars because I couldn't think of a single thing to count against them. These have been so incredibly helpful. One of my ears has an odd shape to it and these plugs have no trouble blocking that while the insertable ear plugs can fill that part in properly. I can't sleep without them.

I use these at night to block the sound of my husband's sleep apnea machine. They do a great job at noise reduction. I can get the silicone into my ear canal and form It as needed. The only negative is that they get hair caught in them and sometimes if I sleep on my side the silicone gets caught in my hair and does not come out very easily.
