It's a great toy to do with your kids. It does make a mess with the water and the lid is hard to take off at the end. It's definitely fun but I feel like it should be only $10 MAX for a doll. But the experience is fun and new for the kids and myself. They loved it though. I do wish parents could know which one we are buying so we don't buy duplicates

Cute doll.
My granddaughter loved this.It was a birthday present.I want to get her the bigger one for Christmas.My daughter said she was amazed that the blue potion turned clear.

Just Magical
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried about the ‘magic' element to this product. I can tell you, hand on heart, if you follow the instructions exactly (like we did) it will not disappoint. The magic was as much fun as the doll itself. We had Merena Mermaid and can't wait to collect the others.

Quick fun
I bought this for my 6 year old daughter. She had the magic cauldron before. I think I like this better. You can go at your own pace and it still does "magic". I'm sure she would like another cauldron, but those are expensive! The only problem with all of these is that they're a one shot deal. Once you do it, the magic is over.

My daughter loved this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter saw these advertised on tv and was over the moon when she actually was given one. It's quite the theatrical performance using the potion and right up her street as she loves science. I'm not sure how environmentally friendly the whole kit is but maybe that's how it is with toy brands.
