I bought 3 of these, in two different sizes. My go to for cutting meats and onions/garlic. got a big one for when my man grills -he loves the edges and how they catch the juice. Easy to stick in the dishwasher. use them all the time for about a year now and still going strong! highly highly recommend.
its great for chopping everything from dry ingredients to flipping it over and using the other side the has a drip channel to collect juices from fruit meat and others. with a cut out in it for channeling the food into a pot or bowl. washes easy. love it
Could use a smaller one too
This cutting board is exactly what I was looking for. It is recess so that all the juices stay on the cutting board. I haven't actually used it yet so I don't know how it's going to hold up over. I hope it can withstand the dishwasher.
ive had one of these cutting boards for years and still are great. i believe they r made in the usa which is a plus! i bought this one exclusively for camping!
Purchased this cutting board recently. Not to big, but yet not to small. Works well in spaces with limited area. Very light, not as cumbersome as a wooden board. Easy clean up, and the raised edges help keep everything on the board. Very nice.
I have the smaller size of this board I bought years ago. Needed a bigger size. The board holds up very well to my very sharp knives without leaving too my cuts into my board which I like.
Good cutting surface. Small lip around the edge sufficient to keep cuttings on board, but low enough to clean off easily. Larger area than other cutting boards, but does not take up the entire counter.
Thr size of the cutting board was perfect for what it was intenbed for. I used a small serrated knife to cut an onion. I noticed that when I was done cutting on the board it immediately had cut marks in the board,in which that is what uts intended for,but when i went to wash it there was some sharp pieces of poly sticking up off the board that i have to becareful of cause im sure i will get cut. I also soaked the board in dishwashing liquid, dried it off and i could still smell onion on the board. I had to soak the board with a little bit of bleach gel overnight to get the smell of onion out of it.
One thing I like about this board is its size - the dimensions are adequate for basic kitchen tasks. But that's about the only positive thing I can say about it. It's quite thin and soft, providing little in the way of support. Without a pad underneath it won't stay in place on the counter, and sharp knives quickly mar and cut into the surface. While it's flat on one side, there are raised ridges on the opposite side. When trying to use the completely flat side there's a hollow space beneath it – any amount of pressure causes it to buckle. Attempting to use the side that has raised edges is also problematic. Unlike board that have a “juice groove” around the edge, this one has a “juice pool” throughout the center – plus those ridges can interfere with smooth knife work. Because of the thinness and poor quality plastic, this board warps and develops curve when washed in the dishwasher – and even when washed by hand with hot water. Bottom Line: While this is an inexpensive (ie: cheap) cutting board, it simply isn't up to the jobs required in a kitchen. I cannot recommend it, especially when there are much better products available at a slightly higher price.
