Mainstays 12.75 in Traditional Faux Wood Table Lamp with Oatmeal Polyester Shade

Exactly what I was looking for! The beige/oatmeal color shade gives off that warm cozy feel when you have the light on %26 that is what I wanted! Light weight because it is a plastic base but doesn't look plastic. The only odd thing is the shade sits to low, perhaps a design flaw %26 you can't reach in to turn it on %26 off easily. I was able to rig something up to safely raise it up an inch plus %26 it's perfect now. Maybe it was a malfunction on just my shade? I would still buy again!!!

Basic lamp with a wooden base. Solid construction. Lamp shade is detachable. Rated for a 60W bulb or lower, though that's an incandescent measurement. CF bulbs can be a higher lumens rating. Has regular on/off push switch, not an annoying three-way switch.

this is a great little lamp it serves my purpose beautifully. I just needed a little something to brighten up a corner. at first I put a 40 watt bulb but it was too bright so then I used a 25 watt bulb and it worked out perfectly. very happy with my purchase I would recommend

I was a little disappointed in this lamp. It looks good as long as you don't touch it. Meaning it's totally plastic. It's functional and works properly. Very cheap feeling . I purchased same brand but different small lamp and it was a great lamp. Might want to broaden the search.

i like the lamp, its size is a bonus, just the placement of the switch is near impossible to access, and have to get a specialty light to fit inside the shade, or a smaller based bulb (LED) and an adapter.. if came with a bulb (led preferred) that fit and the switch was on the cord it would be 5 stars all day. but i am using a power strip for the switch, and ordered a stubby LED for light.

Ordered two lamps. The canvas shade on one of them was completely pulling apart where it's supposed to be sealed. Returned it to my local Walmart. A few days later I went to my local Walmart and passed by lamps aisle. They had four of them on display, including the one I returned!!! All but one had that same problem with the shade (with various degrees.) Bought the only good looking one and informed the associate about the problem with these lamps. I got two lamps now and they both look and work good. Glad they weren't expensive as well.

Cute. Love the style. BUT....the light bulb sticks out above the shade. I have read other reviews that there are other customers with the same issue. Yes, I tried a standard bulb with the lampshade turned either way and same problem. Very bright from the top. Bummer. Unless I can find a shorter standard bulb I will need to return. Someone should have thought about the design specs when designing this lamp. It would have been perfect.

So, this is a cheap lamp -- you get what you pay for. It works and the fake wood looks ok. My gripe on this is that the light switch is difficult to reach and operate. So this would be great if you want it to be plugged into a 'switched socket' or have some other switch for it.

Well I thought it was a bigger lamp and then when I received it there was only one in the box when I ordered 2 and paid for 2 lamps and I thought I would get a refund for the missing lamp but I have not received anything. I am very displeased. Thanks, Erin

hi. im hoing to return the lamp back. the shade dont fit with the lamp. the shade its to tight to turn it on, 2), the shade its to low, where if you put a light bulb you can see it on top. the light bulb its high up then the shade. thank you
