In use for about 3 weeks too soon to tell if this will provide the comfortable support needed 3 or 4 years from now. So far it's great. Shipping was quick and the price was reasonable. Took only 1 hour to return to full shape after unpacking. Just hand stretch it a little and it's fine. No holes or bubbles. Nice uniform light blue color. Perfect!
I LOVE this! I've slept on this for two nights, and no more back or hip pain. The negative reviews mostly state that it was squished and didn't fit the bed, and mine was like that too until I began shaking it out. I laid it on the bed, grabbed the side, and started shaking it, like I would do if I was making waves with the sheet (for the kids, cats, etc.), and it only took a couple of minutes for it to completely fluff out. I don't know if it would've fully fluffed on it's own--it's not like those mattresses in a box, it's a compacted piece of foam that may have been stored that way for months. I bought the 3" and it is VERY thick and plush. I would definitely buy this again.
This 3” Mainstays memory foam topper made a big difference for my bed. It’s super comfy and adds just the right amount of softness without feeling too squishy. It was easy to set up and expanded quickly. I sleep more comfortably now and wake up with less soreness. For the price, it’s definitely worth it and feels like a great upgrade to an older mattress.
I received this in the queen size. I got this to put on our 8 inch memory foam that is for our 3 year old son mostly as a second mattress protector but also give a bit more foam to the 8 inch. It is very comfortable! I recommend this. I was unsure when I first got it out of the box and unrolled it if it was going to expand. It didn't look good. It looked very odd, hard to explain. Not like other memory foam I had before. I let it sit on my living room floor and after about ten minutes it finally started to expand. Once it started it then went quickly. It was fully expanded in an hour. I still let it sit without use even with it fully expanded. I experienced no chemical smells like some other people who left comments.I think it is a good value for the money.
This mattress topper saved me! I spent 3 weeks on a hard, uneven futon…and this mattress topper added so much comfort. I will say I’m thankful for the reviews mentioning that it was smaller than stated. I got a queen for a double xl futon and the queen fit perfectly.
It was one of the most affordable mattress toppers for the quality, and the only one in the area that was readily available. Did extensive research, and we are completely satisfied by this purchase. The information provided on the website as well as reliability regarding day-of pickup information was amazing.
Adds just enough to really anything not just mattresses. We roll it up and use it for company on the pull out couch. Keep in mind this does expand to three inches. If you’re not getting it for regular use make sure you have some ratchet straps and something to wrap it in to pull it into a more manageable size. It would be great for tent camping and throwing a couple of sleeping bags onto if you don’t want to fiddle with an air mattress.
Bought this for our camper as we we’re leaving on a 14 day excursion. Absolutely slept perfectly sound and comfortable. Our son and daughter in law bought one three days later while on vacation with us for their camper. We’ll definitely be buying one for our grandson’s bed at his home!
I will say that I love that this is made in USA, but if you need something supportive to keep your spine aligned while you sleep, IMO this isn't the topper for you (or for me). It did expand fairly quickly in a couple of hours and I did not sense a strong chemical odor like some manufacturers have (I'm very sensitive to odors). We bought a sleep number bed many many years ago and we bought the base model that doesn't have a pillow top built in. I regret that choice and we should have picked a higher model, but this bed has been good to us. I've noticed over the years, I just don't sleep as good like I used to. A sleep number bed is great as you can pick how firm or how soft you want your side. I thought I had my number figured out, but I guess I haven't. Thought this would be a good solution. I think it can, but I need a firmer foam topper to support my hips. I weigh around 120lbs and my hips bottomed out on this 3 inch foam topper. I put this down, then a mattress cover and then my fitted sheet. I took a cat nap and woke up pretty good. Spent the next two nights and figured out this isn't the topper for me. Because this is so vacuum sealed to fit in the small box, I knew I needed another set of hands to help me roll this back up. It was rolled from foot to head, then rolled from side to side. My husband is strong, but it took all of his might to help me roll this thing up like it came out so we could put it back in the same box to return it. His forehead sweated a bit and he was tired afterwards. It takes a lot to tire out this man. Boy am I thankful for his help.
I don’t know if it’s the quality or if it’s just because it’s synthetic but it’s so dense that air cannot circulate. Unfortunately, I was not able to use it because it traps the heat in. It made go to bed so hot. It was difficult to sleep. Otherwise, the condition was good. They synthetic. Foam smell could use about a day to air out.
