Mainstays 2-Quart Iced Tea and Iced Coffee Maker, 8-Cup

Im very particular on how i make my sweet iced tea. Boil water then add tea bags %26 allow to steep for a couple hours. Then add sugar and water after removing teabags then serve over ice. This product not only simplifies the process it makes it cleaner because the teabags are kept seperate in the machine. LOVE it %26 would highly recommend!

Replaced my old Mr. Coffee that I absolutely loved and used every single day. The pitcher finally gave out after years of use. Found the Mainstays model, and except for the updated design of the carafe it is an absolute clone, right down to the pitcher, of the Mr. Coffee model that is no longer available. I love it and couldn't be happier with it. It is the same quality as the Mr. Coffee brand.

This tea maker is very simple and works great. The pitcher is sturdy and does not feel cheap like other brands. The tea maker itself is plastic but has a stable feel to it. I would say it is perfect for those wanting to start at tea making because therr is nothing much to do but press one button.

Buying jugs of iced tea was getting too much, so I bought this and what a great investment! Just add water, ice %26 a few tea bags. 5 minutes later you have fresh ice tea. Nothing really to clean up either. My son in law ended buying one, he likes it as well.

We have been purchasing this ice tea maker for a few years. My husband loves his southern sweet tea %26 it is used quite a bit. It finally quit working %26 we saw the price has not gone up, so we bought two so we have a back up! This is a great ice tea maker %26 so affordable! Hoping they continue making this!!

I bought this to replace an aging Mr Coffee tea maker that is identical to this... All is good....except the plastic lid does not fit the pitcher firmly enough to prevent falling out when pouring the tea into a glass making filling a glass a two handed pour. This rules out simply holding a glass at the refrigerator for a quick one-handed pour from the pitcher. Was going to chuck the machine until I found the top to the pitcher from my old machine which fit snugly. I cannot recommend this machine if you have kids, or adults who are keen on getting their tea with a one handed pour without placing your glass on a table.

Very cheaply made compared to the original Mr Coffee Tea Maker . So much better made . My Mr Coffee Tea Maker still works but it's difficult to find a replacement pitcher for it. I have found a replacement pitcher in the past but very difficult now days,!

One exact month to the day I bought it, the pitcher cracked. I hope to still return it. I never liked the fact that tea flavor was never what you get with this product. You get colored water. If it weren't for the Splenda it would have no taste. Easy to use. There no more to it in using it properly than there is in taste.

Burned me. The brewer is too light. It needs a heavier base or a warning to not put on smooth surface. As the water leaves the brewer it is son lightweight that it slides across smooth surfaces separating from the pitcher from the weight of the cord.

Used it for short period 2-3 weeks. Bottom of pitcher developed a small leak/drip. I never put it into dishwasher only hand washed and also did not store it with tea in the refrigerator. I made tea, poured it into another container washed pitcher and put it away until next use. The rest worked fine BUT you need pitcher to use rest of the components and make tea. Very disappointed. I used a Mr Coffee Tea maker for about 15 years until that one failed (pitcher too). Got 15 years out of that one. Not 2-3 weeks. Guess it's back to boiling water on stove....won't buy another one.
