Mainstays 32-Piece Plastic Dinnerware Bundle Set - Red and Green

First off the colors are really cute! I love the blue so much in it, it matches my kitchen perfectly. The whole set has gone threw the dishwasher twice in the hotest pot and pan setting and they all came our perfectly fine, even the lids so this set is super durable. I did also let tomato sauce sit in one of the bowls overnight and then run it threw the dishwasher as well and you can't tell at all that there was anything in the bowl. This dish set is perfect for kids too as everything is plastic. You get 6 large plastic plates, 6 larger cereal size bowls, 6 small cups, 6 large cups, 2 small storage bowls with lids and 2 large storage bowls with lids. Overall i think this is a great set and I think ill be ordering more in the future.

I am very pleased with this 32 piece set. 6 tall drinking glasses easily holds 20 ounces with plenty of ice. 6 medium drinking glasses - were my holiday guests favorite choice. Perfect size for mixing in packets of fiber; great choice for a bedside drinking glass. 6 large dinner plates - these will be used often for outdoor meals when the weather is warm. 6 individual bowls - too big for soup or cereal, but perfect size for a salad or individual bowl of popcorn. 2 medium serving/ mixing bowls with 2 lids - nice size for fresh cut fruits, muffins, and storing leftovers. 2 large serving/ mixing bowls with 2 lids - my favorite out of the set! They are lightweight, so an excellent choice to mix pastas with sauce, mixing salads, making dough. The Artic White color is nice, simple, clean and elegant. They look very nice as serving bowls on the table. Snap one of the lids on, and the bowl becomes a quick, functional storage container. I have only had the set a short time, but am very pleased with them. They wash well in the dishwasher, no discoloration from foods and no warping from the hot dishwasher. I recommend this set.

The design of these plates bowls and cups really takes into consideration the comfort factor. They are easy to hold and really easy to clean. The best part about these cups and bowls is that if you are having a hot soup it keeps it hot and in the cups if you're drinking something cold it keeps it cold. These cups have actually become my favorite for coffee.

I was pleasantly surprised with this set. It contains dishes in 2 different colors - teal and gray. You get 32 pieces made up of 4 serving or storage bowls with lids, 6 plates, 6 bowls and 12 cups. The plastic is thick and sturdy, so in theory it should withstand hot food, accidental drops and many dishwasher runs. The grey color is a little dull but the teal is just right for summer barbecues and pool parties. I also tested the storage bowls with the lids and they fit perfectly. They are not airtight however, so the best use would be as a cover in the fridge or outside to keep the bugs off. You wouldn't be able to transport wet food in them as it would leak out. Overall a great set to have this summer.

I'm preparing for moving into a dorm and trying to get the things I need for school with financial aid. Out of the $1,000, I spent of on dorm supplies, THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST. Be sure to clean and wipe down before storing. I think some spiders/spider eggs got in so I rinsed and dried them all to pack again.

Great product, packaged well and the only thing I would change about the packaging is that I would love to see on the label or on the box before I open it saying what's inside. and certainly the drivers not just leaving them outside my door. there should be some other way of being safe ' I get tons of packages from Walmart as well as from amazon; one delivery guy comes and picks up the packages and then I can't blame any of them. Amazon always takes pictures of their deliveries.

This is a 32 piece set of bowls, plates, cups, and bowls with lids. The cereal bowls are nice and big, there offs a total of 12 cups (small and large) in all colors. They are made of a nice thick plastic that would be good for outside or inside. They are easy to wash and dish washer safe. We will get lots of use out of these this summer. You get a lot for your money.

When I received my bundle set, I was pleasantly surprised how nice this set of plates, bowls, and cups are. Besides the plates, bowls and two sizes of tumblers, they also came with two bowls with lids, a large one and a smaller one. They are also pretty sturdy. I have no complaints about this product. I haven't used them in the dishwasher yet, I just washed them by hand and they cleaned up rather nicely. I love them and would buy these again. They would make a great gift.

This is a good starter set for those just beginning as it includes a good variety of basic needs. I am not, however just starting out, so this actually is a good set for if you don't want to use your glassware etc. This is great if you have young children because it's unbreakable and light. This would do well for extra people over and great for like bbq's and what not. I don't think it'd fair well with a long microwaving as I suspect anything that may drip (like pizza rolls for example) may burn it, which is a bit typical for thinner plasticware. This does say dishwasher safe, top rack only. I actually did top and bottom rack without any issues, however if you do put them in the dishwasher use air dry and not heat dry because I can see it potentially warping them if you "made" them fit into an area. The plates remind me of frisbees, lol, seriously, they're a little odd but hey, they'll hold food. Not sure if they'll slightly bend with heavier foods...meaning if you have like chicken quarters or pasta and try to hold it with one hand how sturdy it'd be. I get the sense it may have troubles with that, so 2 hands, firm surface is probably best. The bowls are generously large, which is nice to have that option since sometimes you just need a bigger bowl to eat from lol. The bowls and cups are all of a little thicker feeling plastic than the plates. The color options are nice, goes well with if you have multiple children you can say, "what color were you using?" to help avoid mix ups or controversy there. They are plastic, so they may be susceptible to staining from pasta based items. I don't make those things often so I haven't tested it, just going by past years experience with using a plastic based dish to hold these type of foods in/on. If they do become stained I have found a tiny splash of bleach, with soap and hot water and let it sit for a few minutes or so helps get it to come off. Again, though, when you don't have anything, have small children, or are having a get together, these would be a good option.

I have the Mainstays 32 piece plastic bundle set in aqua. Unlike some sets similar to this, the pieces are larger making them more suitable for serving adults. This pack would be great for outdoor dining, camping, or to keep in an RV. They hold quite a bit as well. I've listed the number of each piece included in the set, along with the amount of liquid they can hold without spilling out below: (2) Big serving bowls with lids - holds 10 cups (2) Medium serving bowls with lids - holds 8 cups (5) Dinner bowls hold almost 4 cups (5) Large cups hold 3.5 cups (5) Smaller cups hold 2 cups (5) 10 inch dinner plates A downfall of this set that I think it's a little odd, is that the set only includes 5 table settings, normally sets of this kind serve 6 -8 people. Another issue I have with this set is the texture of the plastic. There is no grip what so ever. The plastic is very smooth which makes them prone to slipping from your grip. However, the large serving bowl is the exception to this issue. This piece of the set feels like it's made from a slightly different material, it's heavier and has a slight texture to the surface for a better grip when holding it. I'm curious to see how well the lids to the serving bowls hold-up over time because they are not flexible. They are a very hard plastic, which in my opinion, will allow them to crack easier than if they had more flexibility. All in all, I would say that in an adult setting, such as outdoor cookout wear it would be acceptable to use plastic dinnerware, this would be a very nice set to use.
