Mainstays 62 in Floor Lamp with Black Plastic Shelves and White Fabric Shade

purchased as a plant stand, to find out the weight capacity is 5lbs per shelf. too light for what i needed it for but i made it work. thank goodness i got it on discount otherwise i would’ve returned it. cheap plastic that got the screws stuck in during assembly. like i said, thank goodness i got it at discount price. still in use.

Easy to put together but you have to be very careful as the bars are made of plastic. Also make sure you install the poles like they are in the package if you get it upside down it’s impossible to get the screw out and it won’t screw all the away in.

Arrived without assembly instructions. Had to look around for a video of someone else assembling it as the Walmart product page doesn't contain the instruction manual either. It presents decently in low lighting scenarios, but the use of shiny black plastic makes it noticeable cheap from a distance and it'll stand out if you have other furniture of more substantial materials (wood, metal, etc) in the same room. The shade also arrived mangled and was annoying to fit into the plastic anchors. It can hold small items for sure which adds more utility than a regular lamp, but the $50 price tag is steep for the packaging. This item feels more appropriate at the $25-$30 price range given that the only metal material used in its construction are the screws.

This lamp-shelf combo is very low-cost looking. This is something that I can’t use. Unfortunately it did have some scratches as well. Having said that I think this lamp would be perfect for a child’s room as long as you don’t put anything heavy on it that it might topple over or a dorm room. The instructions were very easy to follow & took me about 25 minutes to put together.

I ordered the wrong one. I still wanted to buy one from walmart.com but I found another one on walmart.com and it was cheaper and it was a little bit more durable because I'm ordering the mainstays i ordered the wrong one. I still wanted to buy one from walmart.com but it doesn’t say how much it can hold up and weigh as much on there but the other one does so I wanted to return this one and buy the other one and save $20 so yeah yeah

There weren’t any assembly instructions in the box. I had to do a google search and found a YouTube video showing the assembly of a similar light, wasn’t exactly the same but I was able to figure it out. The shelves and poles are plastic and not sturdy AT ALL! The whole thing wobbled every time the string was pulled to turn on/off the light. Couldn’t really put anything on the shelves because of how bad it wobbled and how unsturdy it was. Not worth the price at all!

When if finish to assembly the lamp one important part is missing. I can’t return it because I don’t have a car. So be careful and don’t do like me, go to the store and before leaving open the box and check have all the parts

You can get such better quality of this same style lamp else where with real wood. Very very flimsy and cheap cord just hangs out. I way to hide it like others on market.

This item is total trash. It is mainly plastic. And horribly cheap. And damaged in a way that looked like it was already opened and then disassembled and put back in the box.

Easy to assemble… if the parts were right. One of the E tubes on two different instances. Both were returns (the boxes were all bashed up and taped sloppy). Walma
