Mainstays Ardent 4 Drawer Dresser, White

I couldn't believe how easy it was to assemble this dresser. It went together almost like a lego piece. The only part that required a tool was to screw on the handle. Even the drawer sliders were already attached to the drawer pieces, which I've always had to put together myself. I'd definitely recommend this piece for anyone that needs an easy, fast, and decently priced dresser. It can hold quite a lot also.

This was the easiest and most well designed item that I have ever assembled and I'm 82 so I have done a lot of these. Directions were understandable, rails were already installed and all that was needed was a rubber mallet to tap the pieces together. Everything was perfectly engineered.

Love these dressers and they fit perfectly in my closet. They are very well made and instructions were easy to follow to assemble them. The drawers have a safety latch that only allows one drawer at a time to open to avoid tipping.

Fantastic storage and looks built in in my closet. Glides are great, height is perfect. Swapped the hardware it looks way nicer than the price. Great piece, easy to assemble too.

From previous experience of ordering a dresser off of Walmart, the assembly was super difficult and literally took 2 hours to put together. After only one month of use the dresser completely broke on us. My partner and I were very skeptical of ordering online again. After a year of dealing with our busted dresser, We took the chances and purchased two of these chest dressers since they were in the price range we were seeking. The assembly instructions were very clear and the tracks were already installed to the boards making it easier to insert the drawers. So far we are very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend for small spaces.

I was impressed with this dresser. I have bought a lot of walmart furniture and it has been very thin partical board. This was thick and like a puzzle putting together. It's sturdy and I love the finish. You can only open one drawer at a time and they lock to keep the other drawers from opening at the same time. My son bragged as he put it together how nice it was. I almost want another one! Buy it!

Built this completely alone, definitely took a few hours. And I would highly recommend a rubber mallet (or a hammer with a towel over it) to completely lock in some of these pieces. Looks great and fits perfectly into the space that I measured. Pretty decent quality particle board, but it has some serious weight to it. Also love the locking system that stops you from opening more than one drawer at once. I would highly recommend.

I bought 2 for my kids bedrooms and I’m about to buy one to put in my own closet . It is so easy to build. The instructions are very clear. I’m hoping they hold up! Also, my 5 year old figured out how to open 2 drawers at once so just watch your little ones lol. But for the price , it’s nothing fancy, but does what it’s supposed to do.

if you're looking for something just for storage and not everyday use I suppose these would be good enough but for everyday use, opening and shutting couple times a day, I probably would not recommend it only because this was not screwed or nailed together it was just simply pushed together and in some spots it left gaps. to use to store sheets or small lightweight blankets it would be appropriate for.

DO NOT PURCHASE!!! Besides the poor quality dresser, the Mainstay Company is HORRIBLE!! The dresser itself lasted at most 7 months until one of the drawer tracks broke resulting in the drawer falling on the drawer below it. By 9 months all the tracks were broken and the drawers were resting on each other vertically resulting in a nonfunctioning dresser. I spoke to 10 Walmart Customer Service reps who offered no support being that it was after the 3 month Walmart warranty and further informing me that I had a 1 year warranty from Mainstays (the third party vendor of the dresser). Each time a Walmart rep would give me another Mainstay contact to try, the results all were dead ends. The last rep. agreed with me that this company Mainstays is unreachable!!!! I should have been able to get a replacement dresser for it was under a year. Additionally it is very disappointing that Walmart does not stand by this product, but sells it on their website.
