Mainstays Ardent 5 Drawer Dresser, White

Our 16 year old grandson loved everything about this. He picked it out, assembled it on his own and proudly uses it in his bedroom. Our 14 year old granddaughter is looking for a chest for her bedroom now and we are considering another...but a lighter color.

If you are looking for a great looking and sturdy dresser this one is it! Assembly was simple and didn’t take hours to complete. Drawers are very spacious and are easy to open and close. My daughter loves it and it looks amazing in her room! Definitely worth it!!

Initially, I bought the matching nightstands and dresser. It was perfect for our apartment and it looked really nice, despite how affordable it was. Decided to buy the chest of drawers since we bought a house and had more space. The assembly was a disaster so many broken parts that it is unusable. Purchased this in April and it is already breaking in October, the brackets that hold the drawers are bending under the weight of the clothing, the metal is so flimsy, not strong enough to support the drawers and daily use! See photos and the one photo is how much tees were in the drawer, this is my daughters I had to renforce the drawer with additional screws because it was coming lose at the back of the drawers two months ago Don’t buy, really don’t recommend

Bought this dresser in April and now in November I’m looking for a new dresser. Bought two of these and one has given no issues but this one in particular has been terrible. Assembly was painless and I love that it has the locks where only one drawer can open at a time. Two of the drawers constantly need emptied and knocked back into place. The bottom drawer also catches on a pice of wood at the bottom and separates the face of the drawer from the drawer itself. It is pretty but terrible quality.

Under no circumstances should you buy this dresser. It’s not hard to assemble but it is TERRIBLE quality. The front came with tons of scratches on it, the drawers break and come off the tracks every time you open them, and you can hardly put anything in the drawers because even socks are too much weight for it. Save your time and money and DO NOT BUY. Customer service refuses to give a refund even though it’s clearly damaged and poor quality.

It’s so wiggly even after working hard to put this very complicated dresser together. The connections literally require a force two adults cannot even provide. Rubber mallet helped some but if one side is in the other side pops out. It is a really terrible design and I do not recommend buying this dresser.

I’m not sure how this got any good reviews because it is absolute garbage!! 160 pound box delivered to my front door and as I’m unpacking I realize that a piece is broken and has been taped with black electrical tape. I go ahead and TRY to put the dresser together, but the pieces don’t fit together very well and it is a huge struggle. Also, the instructions are via a QR code that you have to watch over and over again in order to understand how to put it together. Save your energy and patience and buy something preassembled or something that actually works from IKEA. I will never purchase furniture from Walmart. Total crap!

We bought 2. Easy to assemble. One is great. The other one the right side of the tracks are bent so it’s annoying to open. Can’t find a way to contact seller to see about new tracks. I’ll post a picture. It’s a slight bend but enough to make the wheel not want to stay where it should be when opening. Will update review if this is handled.

do not buy this item in any color. i bought two dressers and theyre both missing the pack od screws needed for assembly. And if you want your money back Walmart expects you to pack all the heavy peices,put them back in the beat up box they deliver in, print a label , and leave it outside for a pickup.
