Mainstays Ardent Nightstand with 1 Drawer, Dark Walnut

This was the easiest and smartest assembly for furniture I've experienced yet. It all snaps into itself and it's very sturdy and secure once snapped together.. I'm looking for a full dresser from this company if they sell one simply because of the easy assembly an quality.

This night stand is very easy to assemble and looks very nice. It is sturdy and the drawers are a nice touch. They are not overly large drawers but you can still fit quite a bit in them. I assembled two of these night stands in about 20 minutes total. For the price, I would recommend.

this new way they have most of the piece already put together is AMAZING!!!! it only took me 20 min by myself to put it together! i hope all mainstays furniture is doing this now! i only needed a screwdriver to put the drawer handle on! everything else your just putting together like legos!!! AHMAZING JOB WALMART!!! And by the way its suoer cute!

We got two of these to help put on the side of our entertainment center. It fits perfectly with the color and we use them to place our speakers for the TV. I like the drawer for storage space and we can fit extra things underneath. Really easy to assemble! Once we did one, it was quicker to do the second!

It was so simple to put together. It took like five minutes it's aesthetically pleasing, and it does everything that I need it to hold my crap it was so simple to put together. This bedside table was easy to assemble (did it by myself), and it looks great! I have the whiye one in my room for me, and it is simple enough in design to go with anything and everything. the drawer lets me keep my small items or things my kiddo shouldnt have put away, while I can keep my books on the lower level so I dont forget which one I'm on.

This nightstand was exactly what I needed for a place I was renting that didn't have any bedside tables. I really like how easy this nightstand was to put together — the assembly was simple and straightforward. The only downside is that the inside panel is brown instead of black like the picture shows. It's a small detail, but I would have preferred if the whole piece matched the all-black look in the photos. Overall, it's a nice, functional nightstand for the price.

The hardware for the drawer rollers came pre-attached to the inside sides of the nightstand. Unfortunately ours was packaged with the incorrect piece, so we are unable to put the drawer in. Whoever pre-assembled the piece prior to packaging put the Left side roller on twice and just put it in upside down on the right side vs using a right side roller. So now we just have a black side table with no drawer.

Do not buy any mainstays dresser, nightstand or furniture. It is a nightmare waiting to happen. 1. there is a Prop 65 warning: "This product can expose you to chemicals including wood dust." I bought 2 of the Mainstays ardent 4 drawer dressers, and 1 nightstand. After the horrible experince with the dressers I did not even open the nightstand but returned it unopened. It was the only item that I could return easily b/c it was in the box. 1. The toxic off-gassing of fumes is intense. I could not sleep in my apartment bedroom. If you do not have space to air it out for at least a week, do not buy. 2. The particle board peg and groove assemby system SHOULD NEVER BE USED WITH PARTICLE BOARD (engineered wood). The particle board crumbles under the least pressure, and then the peg will not stay in a crumbled particle board groove. 3. The particle board was disintegrating on other parts of the dresser, and I saw a wood mite fly out of one of the drawers after assembly. Wood mites can be a huge problem with particle board furniture, look it up. 4. The returns process for large furniture items is very difficult on Walmart, as Walmart corporate or higher ups do not understand that you CAN'T PUT a DRESSER INTO A BOX for a return pick up. Fed Ex will come on the day of a scheduled pick up and if you do not have the furniture item in a box they will NOT PICK IT UP, no matter what Walmart customer support says over the phone. The only item I could return easily was the nightstand b/c I did not take it out of the box. The 2 dressers I have been attempting to return for 5 days and it is impossible. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE of toxic fumes (off-gassing), crumbling particle board, wood mites, parts that won't stay together, or fall off, AND OTHER PROBLEMS, AND DO NOT BUY.
