Heavy duty fabric, goes up nice and slow, not like the old style that snapped up sooo fast. Keeps early morning sun out of east facing window. Needed to put a grab rope on it to be able to reach to pull down but that's my height, not the blind...

I truly appreciate all the innovative safety features that are present in this rollout shade. The fabric is made from 100% from recycled PET polyester which make this a great purchase all around. Many sizes are available for all your shade needs. I like that is blocks out sunlight - keeping your room cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. A really nice find.

These are a small challenge: the directions are unclear regarding installation. Careful, if not secured properly, the shade falls down (hopefully NOT on your head). 1. Make sure to push back of shade into the lower clip. 2. Then tip shade UP to insert the front - if done right, you hear a 'CLICK'. 3. now the shade is secure. 4. really nice looking and work well; just pull down 2-3 inches, let go, shade goes back to the top.

Good for someone with basic handyman skills. A challenge for your average liberal.

This is our first time using a blackout roller shade and I must say I love it. I love how well it works at keeping the sun out. It also fits perfect in the window. The shade it’s sell is made really well, of great quality. I love the fact that it has a slow release operating system which is safer for children. Everything is also included for mounting and is easy to hang up. It looks perfect in my window and look forward to replacing all our window blinds with these roller shades. I would definitely recommend this shade and how well it looks.

This is a nice blackout slow-release roller shade cordless slow-closing design easy to install in window frame comes with all brackets and hardware for inside & outside mounting of shade for your window. The blackout roller shade was easy to install and will change your way of thinking about roller shades. The slow release is great, no more flying all the way up and tearing up. The room darking aspect helps for those who need to sleep during the day, great for keeping the heat and cold out. Well worth your time and money.

This shade comes with a heavy duty vinyl shade that is a true "black out" shade. Some that claim they are "black out" shades, aren't true to their descriptions in that the shade still lets in light. This one really does block out the light. It is very easy to install since it comes with a template to mark where the screw holes need to be, and once the brackets are up, the shade just clicks into place. It can be installed either inside the window sill, or outside. If you prefer light to be completely blocked, I recommend getting a shade a few inches wider than your window so that it will completely cover the window opening. However, I will say that if you choose to install it inside the window sill, make sure you measure your window and get a shade that is the exact width so that only the smallest amount of sunlight will come through around the sides and make sure it fits snug and flush in the window sill. The first time I tried getting the shade to retract up, I had to tug several times in order to try and engage the springs inside to retract it and the shade kept getting longer and longer until the shade was completely unrolled and I was afraid it wouldn't retract back up, but it finally did and even then, I still had to repeat that several times before the shade would retract up without having to tug several times before it would engage. Oh, and the description of "slow release" is exactly that, sssllllooooooww; like molasses in January lol. I guess I'm still old school and expected it to snap back up like they used to. But, it's still a nice shade and it is easy to clean with a damp sponge.

I have a kitchen window that faces a nosey neighbors house so I needed something for privacy, this fit the bill! I like that its easily retractable and blocks out a good amount of light. We were using a paper blind before and it wasn't giving us the privacy that we needed, nor the light blocking. Its not to attractive imo but it does what it needs to do. I would recommend it to anyone in need of some privacy!

I have never installed this product before. Any type of blinds I have installed came with all the necessary components to install to the wall. I made an assumption since there was no installation directions in the package. There were no bracket components either. I completely ruined one of the blinds because of lack of guidance. I am sure that I am not the first to accidentally unwind the spring while trying to figure out how to install to the wall. I have to throw it away now because I am so angry at something that is supposed to be easy. I hate this now and probably will not even attempt to use anything similar to this product in my life. ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!
