Mainstays Flip Top Trash Can, Black Plastic

Perfect for what I needed!!! Couldn't find a small trash can this size with a lid, so this was one of the only choices, but its perfect!! Easy to use, easy to empty. It was difficult to pay $15 for it, but its a specialty space and it is worth every penny for how it fits where I need it.

Don't have to see the trash and don't have to touch the lid to close it. Having a self closing lid comes in handy with the cold and flu season right now so the family is happy. And it's small size makes it light and portable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small, thin plastic meant for a bathroom but used at a desk. Used 4 gallon bags that were too big but still useable. The flipping mechanism is weighed down to flip back to the original position. Since it is a small trash can, it doesn't hold much, but because of how the top flips, at less than half full, the flip top can't fully open without hitting or getting stuck on the trash. The top isn't attached to the can, so if it falls over, the top falls off. It's still a really good desk trash can since it's small and is only being used for small papers and tissues.

I have to say the product is extremely small but compact enough to fit inside a bathroom or maybe a small dorm room. Seems to be very strong and well made. I'm sure since it has a lid that swings open and shut that it should control the odor some.

Is too small I don't see the sides or measurements on the ads disappointed
