Being on clearance for $12.00 a pair, I didn't have high hopes. However, with a south facing sliding door in my kitchen, I was desperate for anything that would help keep it cooler. Wow! I can't say enough good things about these curtains! They immediately darkened AND cooled the room!!!! There is an immense temperature difference now. This door is in full sun from 11 am until 7 pm, and I can honestly say, with our thermostat being in there too, that it's not constantly kicking on. Can't wait to see our next power bill. They are also, very pretty. I like the muted, neutral tone. It looks nice.

I had purchased one set of these blackout curtain panels for the bedroom window and loved them so much. I ordered two more sets of blackout curtain panels for the bedroom sliding glass door. I know they will block the heat and light from the sliding door.

I'm going to use these out on my back porch . I painted the walls and it was a perfect match! going to hang a TV so I thought these blackout curtains would work well not only for weather but also if we get a glare from the TV! it helps making my porch come together with my redo!

These are SO cute in the play room. The blackout is truly 100% blackout and keeps the space cool as it is direct in front of the house where the sun hits most of the day. Easy to install and the blue heather is perfectly simple for a calm space for the kids.

these curtains are well worth the money. they are nicely in appearance and my living room feels cooler in the heat of the day! the quality is nicely priced as i always find mainstays products to be quality oriented!!

These curtains are beautiful. The color is just like in the pictures, and they are great for blocking heat without being too heavy. We use these for hanging in doorways, that way the AC doesn't have to work so hard. Great for blocking light, also.

Thick, nice, linen fabric with a poly backing, so it blocks out light and heat/cold very well. Well made - all four I purchased are the same length (sewn well). I'm pleased.

Great curtain for the price. Mine has some missing stitching, so I might need to return it for a replacement . I like the color and how well it seems to block light

Ordered 3 sets of these for some large living room windows. Got one set in and went ahead and put them up as the other 2 sets were to be delivered the following day. The following day I received an e-mail that the other 2 sets had been canceled and are now out of stock. Cant find any others to match them so now I have one pair of curtains that dont match the old ones that I cant return and cant buy the rest.
