Purchased these to block light coming through slatted blinds. They do a really good job and they look great. They're heavy duty drapes, not flimsy. Each panel has a light blocking material on the window side and then the drape material on the room side. I bought the rod pocket type.
Very happy with these! Amazing value for the price. They are like Target/threshold quality. I had previously bought some plain light blocking curtains from walmart and they were too narrow and thin and easily got holes. These are a similar price but are a more standard size and much thicker. The design has a nice texture to it and looks cool with the tiny bit of light that filters through.
When they say BLACK OUT they mean it. These curtains turn a sunny room into night. The sun beats down in the living-room and raises the temperature but a lot. These have helped keep the room cool. They feel just as they look. I love the pattern and design.
Work great at blocking out light and helping to keep drafts out of the room. The place I rent is older and has a double window that’s separated, so I bought an extra 2 pack just to make certain I would have no light issues as my complex has an LED Bright White Light right outside my bedroom. Blocks it completely out!
I bought these because I live in Minnesota and our winters get down into the negatives. It’s especially worse when the wind is blowing. The curtains help keep the windows covered and no drafts can get in. The only issue is that they are not 100% black out but close.
We purchased these blackout curtains for our annual Haunted House event at the Day Program, and they worked perfectly. Since our event begins at dusk, certain areas must remain completely dark to create the full haunted-house experience and maximize special effects. These curtains did exactly what we needed them to do. They effectively blocked the outside light and helped transform our space into a spooky, immersive environment. The size was just right for our setup, making installation easy and providing excellent coverage. The fabric was durable, hung nicely, and held up well throughout the event. Thanks to these curtains, we were able to create the dark atmosphere necessary for jump scares, lighting effects, and themed decorations to have their full impact. We would absolutely recommend these curtains for special events, haunted houses, theatrical productions, sensory rooms, or anyone needing reliable light-blocking coverage.
They look nice, but there seems to be a black powdery residue on the blackout side. I wiped them with a damp paper towel before installing them and the towel came back grey. I had another order of the same curtains previously and I noticed there was deterioration of the fabric at the crease. Too bad because they would have worked nicely with my decor.
Ok, so I really did like these very pretty feminine just what I wanted howeveý they are far from blackout, I have blackout so I know what they should be and these aren't them. But for your family room , great room, even a large light bf ffffffffffffffffff
Doesn’t block the sun! They say blackout curtains in the description but my room is still super bright during the day; they’re like any ordinary curtains, buy them only of you like the designs or colors but don’t fall for the blackout feature!
Not a good purchase experience! Ordered the curtains I wanted two different times. Was sent wrong pattern TWICE. I double checked to make sure I had ordered the correct color. I did. No longer want to order from this third party company and had so much difficulty trying to return them through Walmart that I finally gave up and have two sets of curtains that I will never use. Terrible experience…..
