Absolutely love it! So many uses in the kitchen as well as other areas of the home. I bought it to store flour however I am currently using to store my overflow of veggies in fridge. Obviously I need to purchase at least one more. Incredibly useful, sturdy and seems built to last.
I really love these containers!! I may not use the little clear plastic things in canisters but they're great if you have something you poor, like beans, rice or cereal. I bought these for flour and cornmeal but I have bigger ones coming so I may put rice and beans in these two. But honestly, they're bigger than I thought they'd be. Can probably put 6lbs of flour in this smaller one.
I got a pair of these to store rice and was pleasantly surprised to find the locking pour spot inside as I didn't see it in the pictures or description. The containers stack well and the measurements on the side are clear. The labels were very easily removed without residue left behind. I don't recommend these if you need a true airtight seal but it is great for bulk storage that doesn't need it.
Thick, very sturdy plastic container with a handle, removable pour spout, and a thick snap lid. It's short, so it doesn't take up too much room. I needed a canister that was small enough but big enough for a 5lb bag of whole wheat flour so I could store it in the freezer. This is the perfect size, holding it all with room for a scoop, even with the removable pour spout.
works for flour / sugar kept in storage cabinet or pantry wouldnt want to look at it all day. holds well over 5 lbs of flour / sugar. handle is secure and sturdy lid snaps shut and pointless spout comes out easily dont see its purpose opening to pour is too high kind of useless
HUGE bigger than I anticipated, what was I thinking. Nicely made but feels clunky because of the large size. Can feel the 'snap' when you seat the lid. Too big for what I wanted it for but I'll find something that can make use of it. Doubt I'll use the inner lid though ,seems like more work than what I need.
I got this in two sizes to keep my cat and dog food in. Turns out I adopted a monster that rips open $40 bags of food when you're not looking. These work great to protect the food, but it really doesn't seal. I keep the food sealed in its bag inside this. No break-ins yet...
I like the aize of this container because it holds an entire bag of flour for which I purchased it for. The value was great! The seal however isnt the best. The lid really doesnt click shut. Its fine just sitting on my shelf in the pantry or the lazy susan. I haven't tried the pour spout yet. Overall i think the container is a good value.
this canister would be great for items that are going to be used up with an I'd say a week. the lid is not tight fitting and does not keep out air moisture or smells that can attach to such items as flour, sugar, rice, instant potatoes and so on. but I would absolutely recommend it for items that are going to be used up fairly quickly...
I bought four of these to use as I expand my home baking shop. I needed easily accessible vessels for the many different types of four. These are much larger than I was expecting. They stack nicely, but they're such space takers! The insert that gives you a pour spout comes out under pressure, defeating the point of having it there. More importantly. The lid doesn't close easily or completely without a huge struggle. This is unacceptable when you consider that I'm storing pantry staples in them. I've returned two. I'll be returning the other two, but I had already filled them with product so now I have to get another container to store my bread and cake flour in so I cab return these big awkward things
