Mainstays Mixing Bowl Set, 3 Piece, Assorted Sizes, White, Polypropylene

I received these mixing bowls to try out and give my opinion of them. I really love the 3 sizes that the bowls come in. Perfect for mixing cookie dough or for cooking a big meal. The first thing I made were cookies and it was super easy because of the measurements that are on the inside of the bowls. In this set you receive 1 large bowl, 1 medium bowl and 1 large bowl. Also they were super easy to clean. They are plastic so I feel comfortable letting my 11 year old daughter use them without worrying she'll break them. If your looking for a good set of bowls I highly recommend these. They are a thick plastic so they won't break easy and you can use them in the microwave to melt butter and such.

These bowls are a life saver for me! They have measurements on the inside! They stack nicely as well! They are also very sturdy, I took one outside to help scoop sand out of my sons sandbox and it worked great with the heavy sand. No cracking or anything. They each also have a pour spout which has made it easier to pour whatever I am mixing into the pans.

I personally like this plastic set of mixing bowls more than my glass set as they are lightweight and easy to wash. I like the pour spouts on each bowl, it makes it easy to pour batter into muffin pans or onto a griddle. I washed them in the dishwasher with no issues. I only noticed one thing I would change, they have measurements etched inside-great idea but you can't read them as they are the same color as the bowl. If they were white and I was able to read them then these bowls would be even better.

This set of mixing bowls is perfect. They nest inside one another for easy storage. The sizes are great. The design is good because it has a holder on one end and a pouring side. Just a nice set for $6

Sent these to college with my daughter. She used a hand mixer with them and they've been holding up great. They do take on strain that fades away eventually after several washes if you were to say serve beets in them. I think my only change I would make with these bowls would be lids. Plastic wrap hates them and so storage in them is out.

These are perfect sizes!! i use these for baking prep and for seasoning/marinating meats and vegetables!! The sizes are great!! Even great for pancake batter. these are exactly what i was looking for. they dont have lids but simce they are made out of plastic you can easily put plastic wrap and boom! i havent stained then but then again i know not to pour hot water or hot liquids that will stain(such as pasta sauce).

I love this set because of it's durability, cost and ability to have shuddered sizes. You can't beat this package. it's a great deal.

I bought these to replace a set of similar bowls that I had for years and years that had become very scratched and started to split. These bowls seem like they will be even better than those old ones since these have a pouring "lip" and will still be as useful and used as those old ones. Good convenient sizes. Great price for the set.

Well made. Would like better if was micro-wave proofed., they do not say they are so will not use them in a micro-wave, but for general use as mixing bowls, very good and like the spout on each and the lip to hold them with. The best thing about them is they are made in America!

just received this set and started using today. it is perfect in sizes. a slight bit too deep but not too bad (i use this set for fruit and veg washing, not really for baking mixing, hence prefer slightly less deep bowls, but it's not too bad at all). it is not the highest quality plastic you would expect, but at this price, you don't expect that, do you? The only thing I am a bit worried about is on the website it clearly indicates it is BPA free, but on the actual product (and packaging) there is no word of that. it's kinda important in my decision on purchasing this set, but i guess i can trust walmart's website for it.
