Mainstays Plastic Square Laundry Hamper, 2-Bushel, Carrying Handles, Sage Green

My son just got his first place on his own and I thought it would be essential to give him a laundry basket as one of his home warming gifts. I really love the color an how much it can actually hold. It fit perfectly into the corner of his bathroom and I was thrilled when I came by a few days later and saw there was clothes in it. I consider that a huge victory.

We have been using a different color of this for a while now. It extremely helps to store the laundry. I got the second one now to store the dirty clothes in it too. It is very lightweight and keeps a lot of clothes in it. In instead of using a normal laundry basket, I use this and it really saves me a lot of space. Very well-made and it also looks nice.We may even get another one later.

I bought one from the store and it was fine and decided I wanted another one, I had to order online and when it arrived the green plastic was on the tan handles and the holes were not punched out throughout the bottom art of the basket. Now they are out of stock in this color.

At a quick glance, this hamper is well made and is very useful. The green color is a nice shade. The green coating was not checked well when made as some of the holes on the sides are covered instead of being open. The handles look a little messy too with green coating where it should be tan.

Awful. SO CUTE but awful handles. We've had two delivered with the handles already broken apart from the basket, and the two we replaced them with... those handles have already broken apart from the basket in the exact same way. And that's with very minimal and light use. I carry it once a week, with lightweight towls in them, and ALL FOUR had breaks in the same exact spots on the handles within a month. Horribly made.

Do not buy. Purchased this in June it started to break down and disintegrate around the handles at the end of July and today, September 10 the handle completely ripped off I do not have a lot of laundry. It's not a lot of heavy usage not a lot of tugging it just ripped off very very cheaply made very, very, very low quality don't even waste your money

These are the absolute worst hampers I've ever purchased in my life. The handles are beyond weak and can't hold any weight. They broke within the first few days of me having them. Do not waste your money, please go buy anything else you can possibly buy other than these. I had to insert a dang rope between the holes to have something to hold on to.

Looks like this was made in a sweatshop. I purchased one of these before and it was awesome, came perfectly intact and looked great. Price went up but I thought what the heck I liked it before I'll get another one so our baskets match around the house. Bought it at the increased price. It came looking like this. Holes not fully cut out and then someone clearly was poking through them with a pen or a knife or something. Very dissatisfied. Also cannot get it refunded or replaced as they're expecting me to pack and ship it to them. I do not have the materials for this. I don't even have the option to return in store either. Incredibly unhappy.

This basket was the perfect color and size. However, it was a "one-time use" item. The first time I used it to take my laundry to the cleaners, the handles broke. This was very disappointing and embarrassing when all of my personal items were dumped out in front of a crowd of people.

I purchased this laundry basket because I like the size and color. Immediately when I removed it from the box in which it arrived, I noticed that one side of one of the handles was broken. As my nearest UPS return site is over one hour away, and because it is such a large package, I decided to keep it rather than return it. Over the next few days I filled the basket with laundry, and then, as soon as I picked it up, the already broken handle ripped clean off and the other handle tore on one side. This happened upon using the basket for THE VERY FIRST TIME EVER. I made the mistake of discarding the cardboard box in which it arrived and a new box of this size will cost me about the same as I paid for the laundry basket itself, plus a more than one hour drive to the nearest UPS Store, so I've added rope handles to the basket and will continue to use it broken. Buyer beware. This laundry basket is A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
