To avoid using the dishwasher I don’t mind using paper or plastic plates at all. This sun yellow Mainstays plates certainly suits that preference and it is so cute! The bright yellow color is the first thing I noticed for sure as well as the ample size, which holds a serving for two with ease. The slightly raised sides help prevent spills and it is lightweight, yet durable. This plate, mixed with other color plates is perfect for a casual get together or birthday party. It’s quite versatile and with its thin profile, stacks easily and does not take up a lot of room in my cabinets. Dishwasher safe in top rack only and microwave safe. 10.5 inches in diameter with a 0.75 inch raised lip. I washed before first use.

This plate is perfect for my young boys! I am enjoying having this plastic plate to serve my sons lunch and dinner on. It has been the perfect transition from toddler divider plates to "big boy" plates. They feel like they are eating off grown up plates yet I don't have to worry about them carrying their plates and accidently dropping and breaking them. It is a full size plate so it works great for all ages and stacks well with our regular glass plates. I like that the plate curves up slightly around the edges. That curve helps my kids scoop food and stops grapes and other round food from rolling off their plate when they carry them to the table. The plate has washed very well and has not scratched from regular use. I would not recommend using a sharp knife to cut food on it but I have used a butter knife to cut food such as pancakes and it did not scratch at all. Overall it is a great plate and we are very happy with it.

I have an entire set of these that I've been using for 2 years. They stand up to microwaves, knives, abuse from the kids and my roommate using them to take hot food off the grill (he doesn't like to take glass outside). Initially I just wanted something cheap for the kids to use, but these are actually the family favorite now! We have a matching set of the bowls - also a favorite.

Mainstay 10.5" Plastic Dinner Plate A red plastic dinner plate. What can I say? It is very red. It is plastic and round. It is very lightweight. It would brighten up a picnic or cookout. It is large enough to hold lots of food. The curved outer lip will prevent food from sliding off the plate. Way better than a flimsy paper plate. Oh, and it is BPA free.

I intitally got these plates for the kids, but I find myself using these for myself as well instead of my actual glass plates! They're plenty big enough around, they're thick plastic and doesn't have a problem handling heavy food. I put mine in the microwave and dish washer and there's no problem. I definitely love these plates and prefer them everyday. I like the array of colors they come in and not they have bowls and cups. Quality plastic and durable!!

This pink 10.5" Mainstay plate is great, and I have made it just mine. I love it, because I don't have to worry sbout it breaking because it is plastic. It washes up nicely, and it is also dishwasher safe. I use it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I am older, so I like it because it is easy to hold.

Our six year old grandson visits and is excited to have a new larger plate for meals. This is perfect for him as he likes his food separated on the plate. The size of this plate allows for space between foods. This is not a very thick plate, so it is also easy for him to carry and hold. These plates could be used for outdoor entertaining for holidays and other parties. We use plastic tableware outside in the summer months. This would be perfect for barbecues. The plate cleans easily and has not stained during use.

I really like the color of this plate it's a beautiful turquoise color. For it to be a plastic plate it's very sturdy normally plastic plates are thin and flimsy but I was very surprised and actually liked the plastic plate. I would definitely recommend if you have small children around and don't want to take a chance on them breaking your nice glass plates.

We own these plates in several colors and replace them about every 6-9 months. They seem to warp shape in the doshwasher. We do like them for the kids and how large in size they are. We keep buying them because we do use them daily instead of our nice plates. I do recommend just know they won't last forever.
