Mainstays Waffle Dishcloths, 1 Canvas Basket and 4 Dishcloths, Blue

I saw these in the store, they looked cheap, so I passed, but could not find much else that is 100% cotton. Other materials like polyester dishcloths are terrible for cleaning up the kitchen, they just are too slick and won't grab at crumbs, etc. I bake, I cook, my kitchen gets messy! I decided to give these cloths a try. These turned out to be fabulous. Thick, absorbent, great size. I would recommend and buy again.

I was actually looking for hand towels, these turned out to be face cloths in a canvas basket. It was smaller than expected but cute, instead of returning it i decided to keep it and use for decoration on the back of my toilet and i added a butterfly on the basket to dress it up more and match my shower curtain.

I have this basket hanging up in my kitchen. It's just so cute. The colors are vibrant and pretty. The cloths themselves have a sort of quilted look almost. They are large enough to use for dish towels or cloths to wash dishes with. The linen like basket is a plus!

This would make such a cute, useful gift for so many different occasions. I love the calming, blue shades of the dishcloths. I am actually going to use these in my bathroom to wash my face. The soft, waffle material works great for removing makeup gently from your delicate eye area and you can easily wash these with your towel load. And did I mention the generous sizing of these dishcloths? The four dishcloths come in an adorable canvas basket to keep them organized.

Best kitchen cloths. After receiving some as gifts, I will now only buy and use these. Thirsty, no fibers shedding, as good after washing as when new!

This is a very small canvas bag that holds the dishcloths. I bought it to put in a rental home . I thought it would look cute sitting near the sink. The bag kinda slouches down making it unattractive. The dishcloths are cute but haven't been used yet but are a little oversized for the small bag.

In general, I do not think anyone can have too many dish towels or kitchen towels. I find that my family go through them quite regularly since we use them every day. We change towels daily, wash them weekly, and replace them with a new set about every 6 months to 1 year. I don't usually get the Mainstay brand for kitchen towels but decided to give the Mainstay brand a try with this dish cloth set. They come in a set of four dish cloths rolled up and tucked into a cute little canvas basket. The purchase presentation was whimsical and attractive. The dish clothes are 12 inches by 12 inches and are not particularly thick. They are probably low average quality. These dish clothes are made of 100% cotton and the fabric is weaved in a waffle pattern for more surface area for absorption. With wiping down my bowels and dishes, I found their absorption to be average. They are machine washable. Given that they are made of 100% cotton, they did shrink a little bit after they were washed but nothing substantial. The set I picked is of blues and teals which matches my kitchen hand towels currently. Not the best dish cloths but very usable.

If you like a thicker dishcloth this would be a good choice. They remind me too much of washcloths but they still get the job done. They are definitely not bleach friendly but the colors are still nice. I do like that they come with the little canvas basket so I can literally place them nearby the sink.

I like that these dishcloths are very absorbing. The dishcloths are large and the material is thick. That is probably very good; however, it is a bit to get used to. It seems like a lot to handle. I believe I will get used to that and then I would not want anything less. I like the idea of the basket holding the dishcloths. That looks good on the counter and there is always a clean dishcloth handy when needed.
