Malt-O-Meal Coco Wheats Original Creamy Breakfast Cereal, Quick Cooking, Kosher, Hearty 28 oz Box

*cooking help at end for those getting "clumps/lumps" Coco wheats has always been a favorite for out family. We have never been fans of cream of wheat so this was out hot cereal go to. We are originally from Pennsylvania and being stationed in NY we used to have to buy it from back home in bulk just so we had a stockpile. So glad that my local Walmart has it occasionally. I will buy a few boxes at a time just so I make sure to have it available for myself! I see so many reviews about it being "lumpy" that is cooking error. Bring water to a boil, remove from heat and WHISK in the measured amount of coco wheats and you should have no issues then let sit. If you want to add milk after the fact or need more water also whisk it in. I like mine more on the runny side and I rarely get lumps in mine. I use a mini whisk to make this work for me. Hope that helps someone!

This my favorite hot cereal. I love chocolate flavor. Plus it's high in iron and folate. A mineral your body needs. Am happy you sell this product. Have only found at Kroger. Hope you keep this product.

this is a great product my kids love it it is nice and chocolatey and smooth it's easy to make on the stove or in the microwave add some sugar and you got yourself a great breakfast or an easy snack it asked me to rate the crunch on it there is no crunch it is nice and smooth and it's got a great cocoa flavor I have been eating this since I was a child it is a little pricey I wish it was a little bit cheaper because I do buy quite a bit of it

My mother made coco wheats for me and my sisters before school. I was 10 years old the 1st time mom made it for me . i lLOVED IT!!! I wanted it every day, every meal, lol. I didn't get coco wheats every meal, of course, but if mom allowed me to have it, I was happy and excited. lol, originally, coco wheats were made in Indiana. I didn't know that until 1992 when I moved to Lenox, Massachusetts. The first time I went grocery shopping, I couldn't find coco wheats, so I asked the manager when they were there. The next order will arrive he said he has never heard of it, and I will not be receiving any. I checked every grocery store in the county, and no coco wheats are available A few months later, my children and I went to Atlanta, Indiana, for Christmas with my family, where I was raised, when we went back to Lenox, Massachusetts, we took 6 boxes home with us. We visited my mom and dad in Atlanta, Indiana, every 6 months for 4 years, always taking 6 boxes of coco wheats back home to Lenox Massachusetts with us. I never found coco wheats for sale in Massachusetts. I am now 61 years old and have a box in cabinet right now. They do taste different than they did 30 years ago but I still love them and enjoy making them and eating them with my grandkids and great grandkids.

The item is open and leaking all over. In addition to that the delivery driver opened my gate and left it wide iota so my pets could run out and escape.

This is not like original malt-o-meal. There is a cocoa flavor, but this does not taste good by itself. It does not even cook well. It keeps clumping up terribly in the different ways I've cooked it. I'd rather buy original malt-o-meal and add my own cocoa to it.

The boxes were damaged and the co co wheats were loose inside the shipping envelope. Poor shipping choice!
