Marineland Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon, Filter Media for Aquariums, 22 oz

I am trying this for odor control and a musty storage building. is my understanding then if I just put some in a dish in front of a fan that is blowing that it will remove odors from the room. it seems to be doing okay. For that use, and if it does pick up too much odor then it could be placed in the sun for a day.And all the odors will be removed and can be reused. i understand it is great for helping the air quality in chicken coops.In the hot summer. it probably works best and an environment that is not real muggy but I live in the south with lots of humidity, so i'm giving it a try.

I had trouble finding this item in the stores. I add it to my filter cartridges for better filtration

I use it in the bottom of my trashcan to absorb foul orders. Works great. Not just for fish tanks, think out of the box.

Nice smaller pieces. Keeps my aquariums clear and I also use this in my vivariums and terrariums to keep odors away.

This activated carbon works great. Keeps water fresh and clear for a long time.

Compared same weight elsewhere. Hands down this is the place to buy. Plan to put this activated charcoal into sachet holders and hang throughout house, to kill musty odors and prevent mold. One container can make 10-12 sachets. The retail market sells these for a lot more than these will cost me to make.
