Soft but not too hard
I've purchased many pillows before and they were either too hard or too soft, but this one is both soft and not too hard, it's the soft pillow I've been looking for, the only downside is that there is a slight odor when you first open it, but that seems to be normal.

Is not as thick as stated
Thickness equates only 4" even with the extra foam piece added. Why is it so hard to find a decently pillow similar to the beauty-rest that used to be available? Unless a thinner pillow is what you are looking for, skip this one.

Most uncomfortable pillow ever
I try a lot of pillows due to spinal injuries. This was by far the worst pillow I have ever bought. It was like laying on a cardboard box. There was nothing that could be done to adjust this pillow to make it bearable. I requested to return it.

The pillow arrived misshapen. Why have it compressed in a box if it's easily moldable, especially with all the directions on maintaining it? It should be packaged better. This was a waste of money and materials.
