I've been using Strathmore for years, their Bristol board is the perfect quality for beginners of seasoned artists, and it's sturdy for whatever project you might have. I do my very best sketches on Strathmore🤍

first time using bristol paper but was recommended this brand from other artists. extremely smooth, good weight. ideal for caligraphy/ink/mixed media.

Paper quality is great--perfect for pencil drawings. It arrived damaged however. It was mailed in a mailing envelope that wasn't sturdy enough.

The paper is very smooth, so it's hard to blend on. I think this would probably do good with paint, though it may peel off due to how smooth it is. I think if you only sketched with pencil it could work ok.
