We just installed this light. It is very low profile, and it seems quite bright. We have it on the middle setting, and the other picture is showing the nightlight feature. So far so good, material is lightweight plastic and it comes with a plastic bracket mount for the ceiling itself. Easy install. I'm happy with it.
This light is great! Very easy installation! I just need to purchase a dimmer switch and swap that out ( it only takes certain kinds). I love how it sits flush to the ceiling and has this indirect glow above it. The nightlight feature is really cool. You just turn it on and off and then on; bam! You got a night light, and it is also dimmable. Our old light is a globe shaped one and I am tall. You wouldn't think it would make a difference, but not having the light protruding from the ceiling makes the area feel more spacious.
This light arrived very quickly. Ceiling installation took about 20 minutes. One downside is the brightness setting is only reached through a switch that is inside the fixture. It would be more convenient if it were on the outside. However, the low-intensity "night light" feature is great. The night light emanates from the ceiling side of the light creating a neat effect. The light has a memory that will return to the last state. So if you are using the night light and turn it off, it will go back to night light when you turn it back on. A simple off/on will alter between regular and night light.
Like the night light feature. Still kind of bright for night light but works. Set the warmth of light on warmest and it's still really bright. Really happy. Great buy
We like this item so much that we changed out our lights in three rooms. We're going to change the lights in all our bedrooms. I highly recommend it!!
