I never used one of these, the reason I bought this because my new cd started to skip, and I know there was nothing wrong with them, so I haven't never cleaned the lenses so that's why I bought this after using it. Find an instructions. I have no problems with skipping on my CDs.

I liked that the cleaning disc was made available for home use . It was my first time using a cleaning disc of this type. I had to read the instructions very carefully to understand how to operate the disc.But after a while I was able to understand the directions . God bless

My Bose cd player stopped working. Checked the web and found out it was common because it needed to be cleaned. Purchased the Lens cleaner, used it twice and my Bose was back in service.

If you have spent a significant amount of money for expensive dvd , blue ray or other disc playing devices ( Denon dvd 9000 , Xbox one x etc...) this is a MUST HAVE ! for maintenance towards longevity

Its easy to use. It takes very little time to clean your cd or dvd player. The disc has cleaning brushes and the disc plays music as it cleans. It was well worth it and your dvd or cd player will perform better have getting cleaned periodically.

Our DVD player hadn't been cleaned for quite awhile and we started having problems with it being unable to read even brand new discs, so I bought the Maxell Cleaner and used it as directed. The DVD player is now functioning just like it did when new. The Maxell Cleaner is simple and easy to use and effective; I definitely recommend it!

I have an old Bose wave radio that has a CD player. The CD player started to have problems and I got this to try to take care of it. I had to use this a couple of times to get it to start working properly. Unfortunately, if I let the CD player sit for a few days without playing a CD, it starts to act up again. I don't think this is the fault of the CD cleaner, just a lot of whatever in the player that didn't all get cleaned out. I have to add that the Bose wave radio is no longer made and I have an earlier version of it, so it is quite a few years old.

Call me stupid, but this product's title, "Digital Disc Cleaner," was very misleading. I thought it was CD/DVD disc cleaner. Turns out it's for cleaning CD players, gaming systems and laptops with CD players. Doesn't even work on DVD players, much less on DVDs. Not what I needed.

The disc cleaner has a stipulation that you have to catch it before it goes through the music or it can damage your reader on your CD player. Also, it doesn't come with its own jewel case, so you have to do your own thing there and it doesn't particularly fit in the thin jewel cases. A lot more stuff to deal with, and it's not as good as my last disc cleaner.
