Maxforce Complete Granular Insect Bait - 8 oz Bottle by Bayer

Maxforce Granular insect bait WORKED for Fire ant and sweet ant infestation. Sprinkled a 2 foot barrier around the foundation of my house when there was no chance of rain. 1 small 8oz bottle was all it took for an 1,150sf house. I have no pets or children so BEWARE, this IS poisonous. Do not disturb the nests or ants will relocate. Where fire ants were streaming up a post and behind my siding, I sprinkled the bait NEXT to their path but not in their path. Within a few days I noticed a reduction of both types of ants and within a week they were minimal. By two weeks, they were gone. I used to use the liquid TERRO outdoor bait stakes and loved them for the sweet ants, but the TERRO stakes got harder to find. MAXforce is my new go to. I don't write reviews very often but this stuff is definitely effective. Be PATIENT, it doesn't kill ants / bugs instantly. It's designed to be ingested with enough time to get it carried back to the queen. If you don't eliminate the queen or if you disturb the nest and they relocate the queen then your problem isn't solved. I hate killing living creatures but if they are threatening my property then Maxforce does do the job. By the way, I learned about Maxforce by watching DIY YouTube videos and found that professional EXTERMINATORS use this. So why pay a gazillion dollars for a professional when you can DIY for considerably less. 👍

It has killed one area of the harvesting ants and I'm working on another more established nest. Trying to kill them before winter settles in and they go underground. I live in S. Utah.

really works! i didn't mean to kill the whole colony, really, cause i likeinsects and know how important they are to the ecosystem. i hidey wanted to be able to be in my backyard without being attacked by Harvester ants. Anyway, I applied it once and they disappeared for several weeks. reapplied the next season after getting bitten again and, well, months and no Harveater ants...I feel simultaneously pleased and. guilty.

I got this for a friend that had a roach problem. After one week she said she still see roaches but they are dead.

Works better than any granules I've used on fire ants, and I've used them all. Just follow the directions.

This stuff keeps the ants and roaches from coming inside the house. The only negative is that I had to wait for several dry days to apply.

I had a terrible red ant problem in my house, including in my living room carpet. I had gone online and looked up ways to get rid of ants in carpet and first I tried vacuuming, with a couple of tablespoons of diatomaceous earth in the canister, next I tried sprinkling food grade diatomaceous earth over the entire carpet, followed by thoroughly vacuuming, but with both methods they came back within 2 days. Next I went on YouTube and looked up how to kill ants in home and watched a video from Arrow Pest Services that said the number 1 product they recommend is Max Force Complete. So, I ordered some refillable ant bait stations, placed 1 in every room of my house and ALL of the ants were gone in 3 days! It's been over 6 weeks now and not a single ant, though I did change out the bait in the traps at 1 month to keep it fresh. It worked just as impressively on the ant beds in my yard, even better than my beloved Amdro did. However, since I noticed that my Amdro seems to lose potency after a couple of months of storage (after opening), I decided to store my Max Force Complete the same way I had learned to store Amdro, which is in a large Ziploc bag with most of the air squeezed out.

So far it appears to be working.

Very good and easy to use and does a great job

I'm only giving it 4 starts because I just put it down yesterday, therefore, I don't know yet if it will keep the little critters away. However, it's the same product an exterminator used 2 years in a row and I was satisfied.
