Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait 1.5lb

I've used this a couple of times on our property. Harvester ants and fire ants have taken the bait into their tunnels. Really hoping this helps. They readily grabbed it. I'll update my review in a few days. I would recommend this product. the container is really easy to use.

This fire ant bait is very effective at eliminating fire ant hills. A 1.5 lb container will treat many hills and lasts us over a year. The ants are always eliminated from the hill after several days or a couple of weeks.

I've been using this fireant killer for a few years. it really works! Easy to apply. The trick is to make sure the ground is dry for application, and will stay that way for 3, to 5 days. It is worth the money hands down

It worked! The fire ants loved eating this stuff, and although it took some time (maybe 1 week) for us to see results, now that it's about 2 weeks later it seems like the colony is dead. This stuff is very effective. I enjoyed seeing them forage for this stuff and bring them back into their mound because that tells me that it's unlike other ant killers which only kill those on the surface.

We live in an area with lots of trees and keeping those fire ants away from our house is a priority. We've been using this product (and others depending on the type of ants or termites) for several years with success. It is an efficient weapon in our arsenal.

Kills Ants Instantly, I have not seen the ants move over and start again as with other products. Very small amount for a large container.

This stuff works very well against fire ants. Better than anything off the shelf at your typical big stores.

i thought this was liquid spray stuff, but it is not. not sure if this will get rid of the fire ant issue or not. It does not fit into a pump and it does not dissolve. It also does not have clear directions as to what to do.

According to the square footage estimate on the container, this container should have lasted for at least two applications to my yard. However, the whole container covered only about a fourth of my backyard, making this a terrible deal for the money. As to whether it works or not, it's hard to tell because only part of my yard was treated, while the rest still had live ant mounds. So even if this product did work in the small area where I spread it, I can't count on that area staying ant-free.

I have half a acre cut my grass and spread this all over the yard with a spreader and still got ants. I would not purchase this cost too much and doesn't work.
