Ortho Orthene Fire Ant Killer1, Kills Queens and Destroys Mounds, 12 oz., 2 -Pack

This is the only thing that really seems to work on the Fire Ants in our central Florida yard. It just takes a small amount and they're dead and gone the same day. The only drawback is the smell, but I'll live with that if it gets rid of the fire ants!

We had a major fire ant problem in our front yard. They were all over the yard and starting to infest our plants and climb up the tree. I had tried some other products but the ants kept coming back. So I got this and it was easy to apply. It does smell AWFUL, so be sure to open it outside like it tells you to do on the bottle. Then a lot comes out at once so be careful when applying. But I used both containers on the yard and went and checked the next morning and every single ant was GONE. This stuff is amazing.

This product is so easy to use and we are finally Fire Ant free. We applied it around the ant hills. It rained right after the first application. When the ground dried up, we saw activity so we applied the product again. The result was amazing. We can enjoy our yard again.

I love this stuff!!! It only takes like a tablespoon on a huge mound. I have a lot of pasture fenceline and pasture where mounds of ants will literally eat your posts and wire as unbelievable as it sounds. A little does a lot!! This was an amazing bargain. I got the " value pk" for what one ususlly costs. I mostly get it yearly at the orange " big box " store, but this was such a deal. I buy two yearly, I wish i had gotton another 2 pk now

This is the only ant killer that has worked at destroying fire ant colonies on our property. This past year we had over 30 mounds develop. This product is real simple to use, just gently sprinkle a light coating over the top of the ant mound. We have seriously seen the eradication of 100% of a single colony over night. Although the smell is horrible, removing the ants is worth it.

Best ant killer and recommend this highly. Tried all different brands of ant killer, liquid didn't do the job of killing the nest %26 queen, all it did was make them move to a different spot.

I have been using this product for many years. You do have to be careful not to inhale it. It does kill the queen in the mounds disappear. I use it for spot treating mounds that are in areas that I work in. It does the job.

Walmart has the best price and the quickest delivery of Orto Orthene Ant Killer Powder than anywhere on the internet, and I know I have hunted for it everywhere. Also they always follow the delivery instructions to place it on the front porch to keep everything dry from these surprising Springtime showers. Highly Recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked really well to stop the ants from coming into my home. The small container makes it easy to store. The thin powder texture allows for deeper penetration of the ant hill. Definitely worth the price!

This product not only barely works to kill ants, but it stinks like a rotten animal when applied, for weeks! Used outside and it still smells! Find an alternative brand.
