I like to use this on chicken as well, but definitely in combination with a little spice. Very flavorful. Definitely enjoyed this sample and will buy it again now that I know it is good. I would be careful with it. It can be a bit salty if you put anything else that has salt.
I like this steak seasoning. I typically use a sirloin steak or a New York strip, rub olive oil oil on both sides pat the Montreal steak seasoning into the steak and sear on medium low heat uncovered for 5 to 6 minutes. The seasoning is really good and pretty much all you need on a steak.
I used McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning on ribeye steaks and was really impressed with the flavor. The blend of garlic, pepper, and spices added a delicious savory taste and created a great crust on the meat. I'll definitely keep this seasoning on hand for grilling and even use it on burgers and roasted vegetables.
This is the perfect all in one seasoning for grilling in the summer, I coated some steaks and put them on the grill and it was a huge hit with my family. I love the convenience of an all in one seasoning so I don't have to dig through the spice cabinet looking for what I need
Montreal steak seasoning is so good. And honestly, I put it in everything- not just my steak. It's taken everything my family cooks from a 10 to a 100. (I even put it in my eggs). Once I find a seasoning I like, I hyperfixate on it. So I'm very happy.
I've been using McCormicks Montreal Steak Seasoning for over a decade and was happy to find that they make a smoky version. It goes great on steaks and burgers. I often use it when sous viding a steak but it goes great on top of meat on the grill, skillet, oven, etc.
Thanks Mckormick for letting me try this seasoning in exchange for my honest opinion. It's a great blend of flavors and perfect for steaks. I like how course the seasonings are and that you can see it on the food. It taste great and is from a brand I trust.
I first used it on grilled chicken, and it created a flavorful crust with almost no extra effort. Since then, I've sprinkled it on burgers, roasted potatoes, vegetables, and even popcorn. Every dish has turned out with a bold, well-rounded flavor that makes it feel a little more special. One thing I really appreciate is how convenient it is. On busy weeknights, I don't have time to measure out several different spices, so having one seasoning blend that works across so many meals is a huge time saver. It delivers consistent flavor every time, making dinner prep both simple and reliable.
The flavor it adds to your meat is wonderful; it gives it that perfect smoky touch. The taste is incredibly pleasant and enjoyable—something the whole family can savor I recommend it to anyone who hasn't had the chance to try it; give it a go—you won't regret it
My household uses the regular Montreal Steak seasoning on a weekly basis, so I was excited to try the smoky version of this rub. We used it on some prime ribeyes. It was a little more peppery than the seasoning version, so there was a bit of a kick. I loved the hints of garlic and onion, I just wished I had used a little less seasoning, as the salt was very prominent (a little goes a long way!). Overall, I would definitely recommend this seasoning for anyone seeking a subtle smoky and flavorful rub!
